HIS Lighting is a family owned business based in Phoenix, Arizona with a combined 30+ years of experience in the low voltage lighting industry. We have taken the time to make sure we are a fully licensed, bonded, and insured company. Our experiences have been very blessed to serve over two thousand clients between our Ohio and Arizona locations.
We visit many properties each year that have existing lighting in place but need some help to optimize the bulb life and effect. The higher quality LED bulbs we use (variety of beam spreads & color temperatures) will provide many years of use (rated for 10+ years/50,000 hours) and help battle the struggle with dimmer bulbs or premature burning out (changing bulbs every few months).

It was refreshing to work with a contractor who has integrity and great workmanship. Now our front, back & side yard feels like an extension of our home that we can enjoy at night time.

I had a very small job with some repairs and movement of lights (somehow my lights were staying on all day, I had at least 5 that had burned out, and several lights were in bad locations). Amy arranged the date/time with me and Scott showed up (in a mask - great given COVID) and fixed everything. He was very professional, talked to me about replacement bulbs and the best positions for several of the lights. Great experience and would use them again!

Have sent them 2 messages using their website - no replies. Have also called them twice and left a message - no returned calls. When you call their number it ALWAYS goes into an answering machine. While I suspect they are a small business (which is perfectly fine) it is unacceptable not to reply to messages and/or phone calls. I'm not sure this company has a customer service orientation. Maybe they're out of business - who knows....?

Kim and his team at HIS designed and installed a total rework/update to my backyard lighting system. They replaced fixtures that were bad, re-installed wiring suffering from root damage, replaced dead junction boxes, plus suggested places to add fixtures to enhance the landscape elements that were getting lost in the dark. They also installed bistro lighting in my palapa, complete with remote control and color options. Plus a new astronomical controller for the system that turns it on at sunset and off at sunrise...replacing my old plastic mechanical controller. It all looks fantastic. And

They just did a total LED replacement on 40 outdoor lights. Don't look any further as these folks are unmatchable in installation, quality parts, creativity, integrity, and a friendly personal touch. There are few businesses that truly truly do absolute top quality work in every thing they do. They stand proud of their work and rightly so. We were overwhelmed with the results and friends are staggered at the vast improvement. They verify everything as once they touch it they put their stamp of integrity on it. Thanks Kim and Amy!
