Projects include the complete disassembly and reassembly of historic buildings; design, fabrication of interior millwork such as trim, doors, windows, and furniture; and implementing 'green' building practices through awareness and application of relevant material and trends.
This experience enabled us to grasp orchestrate the entire house building and restoration process from very beginning to end and to help clients envision the finished product before work begins.Through this many years of experience, Mark has brought together and managed teams of tradespeople, artisans, architects, designers, and suppliers completing projects of lasting quality and enduring style.

Our work with clients often begins with preliminary conversations centered on their vision of an ideal project outcome within a wide range of budget options.
After teaching High School Social Studies in Washington, DC for three years, I moved to Vermont in 1986 with wild dreams of learning to build my own home. I began my first building experience as a laborer with a small carpentry crew, taking on all of the tasks given to the inexperienced, the "apprentice" on the team.
