Vega Asphalt re-paved a long driveway for me. There seems to be a short supply of asphalt paving companies who will respond to calls for smaller jobs so I was only able to get two different bids. (One company no-showed me twice.). Vega's pricing was slightly below the other and their schedule had availability sooner so I went with them.
They did an excellent job. The crew that came out listened to my concerns about the edging and making sure the gate would still close. They banged it out in about 3 hours. My only minor issue was that there was a small amount of loose asphalt left in

I certainly like writing positive reviews more than negative ones. Although both are good at helping people decide on doing business with various companies. So first I had a small job of patch work earlier this spring. The company that cut out the asphalt subcontracts with Vega to do their patch work. I got the quote from the cutting company for the patch work. I figured I would call Vega myself and get their quote directly. They quoted 20% higher than the company that cut the asphalt to have Vega do the work. I understand companies are busy and consumers are paying more for construction than ever

Robert Vega has a great company, from the owner to the crew they do a wonderful job and they schedule you in very quickly! I had them install 9,000 sqft of asphalt and I couldn't be more happy, they also crack filled and slurry sealed the 6,000 of existing asphalt! I met with Robert Vega jr on the job and he was very professional and ambitious with good quality work that the Vega company does!
I would use them again and I highly recommend them to anybody!

As an engineer I have dealt with my share of contractors over the years. Recently I purchased a house in Reno that had an existing large asphalt driveway that needed maintenance. After reviewing all the local firms I could find on line, I short-listed 3 firms and contacted them for estimates. Although I wasn't necessarily going to go with the lowest bid as quality is important to me, Vega's bid was the lowest. They showed up on time (something so basic yet so many contractors fail at) and the crew knocked out the job within the day as promised. Everyone I dealt with was friendly

We needed to have our driveway repaved per our HOA, as were many other houses in our neighborhood. We got a knock on our door and they offered their services to us. After inquiring around town, Vega had the most competitive price and was willing to work with our budget.
They told us they would come at 9am but were here and ready to work just after 8. They got it done quickly and it looks great.

We hired Vega to resurface the asphalt driveway at our home. They did an excellent job at a competitive price and there was no long wait to work us into their schedule. What sets them apart from other contractors is that they were willing to accept payment by credit card, which is a big plus for homeowners like us, working with a budget. Thanks, Vega!
