As you know one of the Workroom's missions is to give a platform to our Local and Regional Artist. We support the arts through our artist consignment program here in the store, as well as through the many events we have that allow artist to showcase their goods from our Artisan Markets to Final Friday and pop ups!

This is a very cool place we stumbled upon near our air bnb. Supporting local buisness/artists seems to be the sole focus, which is amazing! This is the perfect place to shop if you need to buy a present for someone, so many options. Also, the workroom is connected to another buisness that sells plants and other trinkets. The vibe is amazing.

We were visiting from Florida for one day. I wanted postcards representing the city & stickers for our RV after touring places around the city. One museum store didn't have these so they recommended The Workroom (cool name). It's a large store (with more than 1 room) with all kinds of gift items. I found what I was looking for & checked out with a nice young woman.
However, the total for my @7 items seemed too high. I left my glasses in the car so I went out to check the receipt. I returned & told the cashier I was double-charged or overcharged for some items. She stated, no, the items I purchased

Cool shop full of Wichita themed products. It's been a couple of years since I was there last, but I remeber more of the space was devoted to local craft people. Now I'm not sure how much of it is created localy. In either case there are plenty of neat ICT themed products to help tourists or people who are back in town find some fun gifts. Bring a heavy wallet though, the products are priced on the high side.

Love this place! The sign out front says “best local shopping” and I have to agree! Tons of Wichita themed gift items, a super cute plant shop attached and a little cafe where you can get breakfast tacos. As other reviewers said, it’s kind of pricey but I like supporting local artisans. I went on a Sunday and there was live music. Service is great and super helpful! They’re right next door to spice merchant so you can shop at both.

If you're looking to shop local and have a mighty need for all the eclectic vintage original things, the Work room is your spot. From body products to furniture and art, they've got all the gifts and personal items you could wish for. Bonus? There's a vintage clothing shop AND snack shop connected so you can get Louboutin on the steal while eating a breakfast taco. Make a date of it. You're welcome.

They have plenty of merchandise and selection. I was shocked to see all the items "made in China". When they are always advertising buy local and shop local. I'm sure it cost more to inventory local products for sale. I just find it hypocritical that they want us to buy local but then they buy Chinese

Love their local section. Got me a cool little tshirt today and I plan on coming here to shop periodically. I hope they continue to thrive! We need our couches reupholstered, I'm considering trying them out for that too. If you haven't checked them out you won't be disappointed. Wichita everything! Coffee mugs, shirts, pillows- everything. They're on Cleveland street with cool art on the outside of the building, can't miss it. I'll be back!

I love The Workroom! They have the best selection of ICT themed art and gifts, as well as unique creations by local artists. They also do upholstery and I had them made a custom bench cushion for me. It is beautifully made, with special attention to the pattern and making sure it all lined up on the seams. This is a really fun shop run by friendly and helpful people!

I love The Workroom! Full disclosure -- I also sell art there, but that's because I first walked into the store and wandered around, talked with the people working there and fell in love. They always have new things every time I go in, and their collections of Wichita themed items always make me want it all. They have everything from custom furniture and upholstery to local art, to candles and light fixtures to cheeky cards and t-shirts. There's something for men, women, and children there, and anyone who loves Kansas and/or shopping local. Plus, they have cold brew coffee and beer on
