This business came as a recommendation from a fellow landlord.
While they were able to inspect, diagnose, and replace my AC this summer (decided to replace the furnace at the same time to save money), any other time working with them has been incredibly inconvenient.
Steve won't even confirm if he will be able to come do the service work on a specific day let alone give a time range for his arrival. Some days after calling Steve to confirm in the morning (he never calls me to confirm in the morning like he says he will), him/his workers still won't ever show up.
What a waste of time

Based on the reviews, I called when the old furnace was acting wonky. Steve was able to fix it at a reasonable price. Furnace developed a different issue, Steve fixed it. Not knowing HVAC we thought it was a warranty issue. It was not.
We know it's time for a replacement unit. As the business is cash only, it wasn't financially a good time. Is it ever?
Fast forward a month or so. The air circulation wouldn't cycle off. At this point the unit is costing quite a bit to make it to a decent Chicago temperature to not use heat.
We had every intention on using Steve/Bestway for the purchase

At the height of a Chicago summer these guys did everything that they could to make sure that we got air-conditioning in as soon as we possibly could.
I believe that they are second generation of two brothers that currently own the business. I believe their father started it.
I wish I had started using these guys much sooner. I've been in Evergreen Park for 20 years, and they've been in Evergreen Park for 40. I like to support local family owned businesses.
They had my air conditioner replaced in less than three hours one day before reached 90°.
Definitely give Steve and Tim a call

Had a new 2 stage high Efficiency Furnace and High Efficiency Central Air Conditioner installed by Bestway Heating today. From my first meeting with Steve a few weeks ago thru the install today they are a company that truly stands out for professionalism neatness and knowledge of their products and HVAC installations. Go for the "family" owned business and go for "Bestway Heating". Great group of dedicated individuals!!
