Owner Tom Pilon (right) and Drew Holdaway first met in 1999, while working in Anchorage on a private estate grounds crew. Guided by Drew's leadership, the pair worked closely together for nearly 11 years, managing contractors and various large-scale landscape projects. Tom decided to leave Anchorage in 2010, to venture out into the world and start Perfect Earth Landscape.
Drew joined Tom in 2012 and the business has continued to grow steadily since, serving excellent residential landscape customers in areas of Jefferson and Oldham County, Kentucky. Together they have years of high-profile landscape experience in Louisville, which results in extremely high-quality work.
Drew is a creative design specialist with a background in golf course management and all things horticulture. He excels at design work, soil preparation, and plant selections for landscapes. Tom is responsible for the daily operations of Perfect Earth, while also spending time in the field. Both enjoy working hard and creating a 'perfect product' for clients, whether on a small maintenance job or a large landscape installation.

We specialize in thoughtful, unique plantings and a wide range of maintenance services that include mowing, mulching, tree pruning, shrub trimming, and Spring/Fall clean-ups. Landscape design and installations - New construction or removal of old plants and updating.
We provide "no-pressure" consultative meetings, free of charge, to understand your landscaping priorities and needs. Our estimates are detailed, listing all materials and a 'scope of work' so that everyone understands the labor and items required to perform the work. Only very large jobs require any deposit "up front.".
Perfect Earth Landscape loves to get creative! Check out these examples of our work - We can do basic, formal foundation landscapes for your home or more complex open area designs using multiple layers of plant types and natural stone. But most important, you can be assured that your new landscape plantings are installed professionally in prepared ground, on proper grade, with organic soil amendments as needed.

Tom, the owner, came out and measured and followed up with an email estimate. I accepted the estimate and got on his schedule to do the work. The whole experience was very positive and professional.
