Our experience purchasing a sliding glass door was expensive and frustratingly slow. We did finally get a very solid, locally crafted Park Vue door, but it was 2-3x the cost of something good from a big box store. The overall rating, however, is based on factors other than price.
Much of The slowness came from assorted delays in placing the order by HT, before any manufacturing delays. They wouldn't place the order before receiving payment but couldn't seem to provide a quote in any timely manner that we could pay. I used H T Glass for windshield replacement as I didn't want to travel to Rhinelander and hadn't heard many positive comments about that vendor.
The service desk at HT scheduled my appointment for a week out. Upon return, I was able to get right in. The process took less than two hours. The price was reasonable and the service was courteous. I wouldn't hesitate to use HT Glass again for windshield replacement in my vehicles. Very professional service.

The other reviewer hit the nail on the head. Service here stinks. These folks have a very bad attitude -- probably due to the fact that they don't have a lot of local competition. My wife walked in to get a piece of glass for a picture frame. Not only would they not cut the piece while she waited (she was the only customer in the store) but they wouldn't say when it would be ready.
Cutting a piece of picture frame glass is a 3-5 minute task.

This place is ok for home glass, however, I would never use them for auto glass repair. I had a small Stone chip in the windshield of my Ford, Escape and went to this company to have it repaired. I have had numerous Stone chips repaired over the years and have found the repairs to generally be very good. This was definitely not the case with HT glass. They returned the vehicle to me and it looked as though no repairs were even made. There was still a noticeable chip in the windshield that I could put my finger nail in it. I subsequently discussed the problem with the office manager and was told
