MASTER CARPENTER: At this level, must be an expert in all aspects of carpentry, with the experience, skills and tools of a master craftsman. You must have the ability to read blueprints, do layout work including complicated stairs and a comprehensive ability to use both the framing square and calculator to solve hip/valley/jack rafters.
You must also possess the ability to build items with intricate trim details in a timely manner. You must be able to work with others in both large and small groups, and act as a mentor and leader for all carpenters.
CARPENTER: You must be competent with all aspects of carpentry, with the ability to perform all aspects of framing work in a proficient manner, along with the ability to do layout work and demonstrate the skills needed to complete finish work.You must be able to demonstrate your ability with a framing square and calculator and be able to cut basic rafters and stair stringers.
