In the Spring of 1971, Deb and Darrell Satern began to shape their future in the exterior remodeling industry. Offering seamless gutter and downspouts to residential customers, the couple would install by day and sell by night. Hard work ethic and determination would soon prove that it would be necessary to begin hiring additional installers if they were to keep up with the demand.
Tate grew up in the family business. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree from Iowa State University in 1998, he moved back to the Humboldt area and became the General Manager of Satern Exteriors. Tate is actively involved with research and development of products with several building products manufacturers.
