Today I found the Amsberry Paint crew painting exterior trim on the front of my house that is exposed to the weather, WHILE IT WAS RAINING, with the owner ONSITE directing them. This occurred after I explicitly texted owner hours earlier warning of coming rain and indicating that they needed to stop painting. While some of the work crew are capable and conscientious, project management and time management is horrible. My project has already run twice as long as it was suposed to, and it's still not done. Amsberry painting recently cleaned and stained our deck. Our deck is made from Ipe, also known as Brazilian Walnut, and it is a hardwood. As such, it requires very careful treatment and process to properly prepare the surface for receiving the oil-based stain. The Amsberry crew was very receptive to my instructions, and took great care in preparation and also during the staining process more than a week later. The result is that our deck now looks exactly like it did after original construction, more than 6 years ago.

We had a very positive experience w/ Amsberry's Painting from the initial meeting to receive a bid to our final walk through after the exterior paint job was completed. Every employee we interacted with at the office and here at our home was professional, helpful, friendly and easy to work with! Price was competitive and the turn around time from receiving a quote to actually having painters here was faster than any of the other bids we received. Highly recommend!

My crew hasn’t done any painting yet but I’m scheduled for my exterior in about a week and they just finished all the cleaning. First of all, their quote beat 10 other bids! To be honest, I think the bidder made a mistake with the heights they were dealing with but Ron was awesome and honored our original quote. They weren’t booked out far at all and got us on the schedule promptly. Ron has been in contact with me regularly for weather and schedule updates and customer checklist items to make sure everything goes smooth. I would like to preface this review by stating that the company did eventually make things right which is the only reason why I thought 3 stars was appropriate.
What was a 1 1/2 day quoted interior job turned into a 2 week ordeal. After the initial walk through of the work I was looking to have done I was quoted 1 1/2 days to complete 2 coats of paint on multiple living areas and hallways (no trim or ceilings, just walls), the job was scheduled about a week or two after that and a crew arrived to start day 1. They finished in about 5hrs and left which I thought was probably average for the first

The south side of our house had been battered by weather for years. The Amsberry estimator, Bob Sultemeier, gave a thorough look at the condition of the exterior of our house. He recommended getting a quote from a siding contractor, Highlander NW, who replaced the affected area with a Hardie surface before Amsberry painted.
The work crew was terrific. The crew lady communicated with us throughout the process, resulting in a beautiful paint job that lived up to our best expectations.

I have never written a review but feel strongly this warrants one.
I accepted a bid from Amsberry Painting to paint part of the exterior on my home that has faded from the sun and a small interior bathroom.
Painting day, the painters showed up with no paint to do the job and confused as to what they were actually doing. The owner, Jeff, asked me meet him at he paint store that is a 25-minute drive from my home, one-way, to pick up paint. Then told to me that the brown trim color was not included in the bid. Which was my sole purpose of having them bid the job and was clearly expressed to Trevor

I highly recommend Amsberry's Painting. This, coming from someone with high standards (I expect quality and am detail oriented). We had Amsberry's paint the full exterior of our home. Shortly afterwards we had them paint the interiors of our newly replaced wood windows (full house). Entry way and hall were also painted. They also stained the new wood windows in our office. The paint job they did for me was great, but the customer service with the home office and, in particular the Project Manager Shannon, was awful!
The crew arrived two hours late with no phone call or advance notice that they were going to be late.
They covered every single door of my home with plastic, without telling me, and I wasn't sure if I could get out. The PM, Shannon, lied and said that he saw my dog on the lawn when in fact she was inside my home - blocked by plastic.
It took at least five phone calls and multiple emails with the home office to discuss these issues and, as of

We had a large job, inside and outside painting personal residence. The Amsberry painting team was fantastic, from the quoting process, to the pre-work, and post-clean-up. Due to inclement weather, we had to change the schedule for painting the exterior, but the team was flexible, prepared, and did a great job. I would definitely recommend this local business.

After shopping around for over a year out of the blue I met Jeff Amsberry on a flight back from Kona where he was participating in the same 1/2 Ironman as my wife. We got to talking only to find out he had a painting company and was willing to come out to North Bend. I met with Jeff a week after we got back and after his very thorough assessment of my house I knew this was the guy I needed to paint my house. But I was afraid do to his professionalism that he was going to be way more than the other bids I had received. I was very surprised when his bid came in less then the other five companies

Amsberry's Painting painted the inside of my entire house (walls and ceilings). I was impressed with their friendliness, timeliness, and attention to detail. They moved large pieces of furniture away from the walls and put them back in place. The office staff was easy to work with and gave suggestions on how to pick colors. Other than the new light paint, I hardly knew they were there.

Amsberry came out and did a good job cleaning. And while the paint job overall I am happy with it is everything else that occurred that was an issue.
Amsberry left a half a dozen paint spots in my yard where they cleaned brushes. The people who sanded and prepped tossed their sanding pads used on my lawn and left them, they left old food on my property for several days and candy wrappers were dropped in random places. Amsberry dumped paint into my French drain system then attempted to cover it up by cleaning the grate. I received a harassing phone call from one of the painters to my personal cell

Very poor customer service from beginning to end - the young girl who took my call to book an estimate wasn't at all on her game - it took two separate phone calls to book the estimate appt and the calls took way too much time to book - she shouldn't be allowed to be the front person and she also booked the wrong time - Trevor, the estimator called at 8:00 this morning and when I asked where he was he wouldn't tell me & I said the appt. is at 9am and he couldn't make 9am due to another appt & then he got very argumentative and said he wouldn't work with me - unbelievably

Hired them to paint one room. The crew did show up on time. After that, everything fell apart. Finished later than expected but no courtesy call or any notification as specifically requested.(and then lied to as bout it) Drips in the paint. Un-patched holes. Left paint on furniture as well as paint and debris on the floor. Jeff Amsberry assured me that he was there for the clean up. APPALLING! I felt that being a local company I would use them if their price was fair. I own quite a few rentals and am always looking for local companies to serve my needs. I had 3 quotes.
Two were fairly reasonable and close to each other at $1800. Amesbury came in at $8600.

We recently had our home painted by Amberry's and are just THRILLED with the result. Francisco, our head painter, was really professional, respectful of our home/space, and did such an amazing job. We were expecting it to take a solid week to paint with just two guys, but we were pleasantly surprised to have it completed in 3.5 days. The price was as quoted, no surprises or add-ons. The only small hiccup was the painting date got moved around a little bit (no big deal). I'd highly recommend using them in the future!
