Services
During the 1880's, the transition from outhouses to indoor plumbing was moving at a rapid pace. The true craftsmen sought ways to distinguish those who knew what they were doing from those who didn't. In 1882, a group of these new tradesmen in New York City banded together to form the Master Plumbers Association of New York.
State-to-State Interaction -Through networking with other state associations throughout the United States, PHCC of Tennessee has the ability to locate key people across the United States who can assist Tennessee members faced with state to state situations. Whether it be codes or licensing laws in other states, or contact people in cities the contractor may have a project, PHCC has the resources available to assist its members.
The TAPHCC is looking for contractors who are of the highest integrity, honest, customer service oriented, and highly knowledgeable. We're looking for contractors ready to invest in their profession. The association is here for the support, promotion, and enhancement of our members. But we are also looking for members who are very interested in promoting and protecting their industry as well.
The objective and purpose of the Associate Membership is to bring a closer working relationship between TAPHCC members and those in the industry with whom they do business and share a common interest. As a member you will receive special recognition in our newsletters and then continue to be included in our Associate Membership listing in following editions.
The PHCC National Government Relations Department holds an annual legislative conference in Washington, D.C. This conference offers contractors and paid staff an opportunity to participate "first-hand" in the legislative process and actually lobby their legislators on issues of concern to the member and PHCC-National Association issues.
