Kathleen Mowry discovered her passion for beautiful interior design in her teen years, spending much time shopping antique stores and flea markets. She developed this interest into a career after obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Drake University, with a major in interior design and a minor in business administration.
After obtaining several years of valuable experience in the field, she began her own business in 1982. With an enthusiasm for both commercial and residential design, Kathleen has completed numerous projects, both large and small throughout the Midwest and in Oklahoma, Texas, and California. Much of her practice is from repeat clients, often designing as many as four homes and/or offices for some.
Kathleen regularly attends national furniture and accessory markets in Dallas, High Point, Atlanta, and Las Vegas. Purchasing furniture, paintings, and accessories with specific clients and jobs in mind, at these markets, helps to keep the designer abreast of the latest trends in decorating.
