Whether you have a oriental rug or any other type of area rug, the first step is discussing the cleaning process with you and addressing your concerns. Luv Ur Rug uses a patented process to safely and effectively remove years of loose debris from your area rugs that can not be removed from the basic vacuum/rug cleaner.
The sooner you treat the pet urine, the better change of being able to release the urine crystals from the fibers for a more thorough cleaning. Rugs with pet issues must be treated with special enzymes (overnight if possible) and flushed out completely before cleaning and drying. Extra time and effort is needed to try to clean these rugs and is not always completely successful.

Vacuum your rugs regularly to remove dry soil. Gritty soil can be tracked indoors and scratch and cut fibers. The longer the soil remains in the rug, the more damage it will cause, so the rugs should be vacuumed at least once a month. Make one vacuum pass on each end across the width of the rug to avoid fringe damage.

Just had three rugs cleaned and returned to my home and they look fabulous. I had stopped by the workshop on Route 23 / 74 on the way to Sylva and was impressed with the knowledge, facility, onsite equipment, and person I talked to. As a result I had them pick up my rugs and clean them. They did a great job. Dining room rug is so clean I don't think we can have folks over for dinner - don't want to ruin it. I have no problem recommending them for your Oriental Rug cleaning needs.
