I am shocked to see all of the negative reviews. The Stollmeyer store has been around forever, although I never had the chance of purchasing from them until recently, I’m obsessed with my chandelier. Prices were more than fair, extremely simple and painless transaction, and I loved that they communicated through text. Who talks on the phone anymore anyways! I don’t see a whole lot of these reviews discussing the product, personality quirks or business practices that you don’t agree with shouldn’t constitute a negative review. Their product options are endless and there is no competitor

I would execute caution working with this business. A 1960's lamp, which took a month for him to replace a socket, came back to me dinged and missing the original switch, which I asked him to return to me. I have yet to hear from him two months later. He stated that it was due to COVID that the parts were back ordered. Come on. It is a socket. I could pick that up at any hardware store.

This is the absolute worst business I’ve ever purchased from. The owner is flaky! I bought a lamp that had to be ordered. Finally came in and was only notified after a couple of texts (yes, texts since they are now only open by appointment and can’t be bothered to answer the store phone number. Who does this?) That was weeks ago and I’ve been to the store when I was told someone would be there but had mysteriously “just left” when I arrived. Many texts later and now I’m told he actually has “store hours”. That’s not what the sign read on the back door the last time I was there

I recently built a house and met Cory halfway through the build. He turn our house into an amazing home with his attention to detail, lighting knowledge and eye for lighting design. I highly recommend anyone who is remodeling, building a house or simply changing out the chandelier or lighting fixture to talk to Corey and his team at Stollmeyer Light & Designs. Corey's ideas transformed my remodel into a show stopping home. His expertise showed my seasoned architech a few tricks that not only saved me a lot of money but preserved my cedar plank ceilings. His knowledge and skill, coupled with his "take care of my customers" attitude is a rare find. I can't recommend him enough!

There is no one actually in the building the front door says use back door back door is locked and nobody answers when you knock you call the phone number they tell you the text this other phone number so how do I know what lighting you have with no one there

I'm giving only one star because I can't give a half of star. I requested a replacement part for a fixture, continued to get the run around for 2 months then to be told go find another company to do business with, to be followed by slamming the phone down to hang up on me. Honestly the worst customer service I have ever received. I recommend following their advice by going to another company who deserves your business.

Ordered bathroom lights. Was told seven to ten days delivery. Got no call back from them Called after three weeks. They had no idea. Called next day. They called back saying the order had arrived. I called next day, was told, No, would arrive in two more weeks. They do not seem to know how to do business. I cannot keep my contractor waiting for two weeks, and then four...or five...or more? I had to cancel the order and look elsewhere.
