Today's motorcycles come with complex keys and ignitions - key replacement is often described as a "dealer only" service. If you've lost your motorcycle keys and need a replacement, Mobilock Security can help. We can help! Mobilock is able to generate any non-transponder motorcycle keys, as well as specialty ignition keys, like transponder keys, Ducati "red" keys, and Harley-Davidson's tubular keys, to help get you back on the road quickly.
A. Transponder keys are factory-made accessories that come with a car and provide for radio transmission between the car and the key. This radio transmission allows for a key to be programmed to only start a specific, individual car. This added safetly measure means that only the person who is in possession of a car's transponder key will be able to start and drive it.

I am amazed by the prompt and wonderful service that this company provided. The key to my 2009 Honda Fit broke and I thought that I would have to go to a Honda dealer to have a new one made. I am so glad that my mechanic at Out West Garage recommended this company. They came the next day and made a new key for me at a very reasonable price. Quick, efficient and timely service! Not the cheapest way to go but there are some things you don't skimp on. Needed a duplicate fob, which he had in stock. I lost my keys on Monday night, called Ed at Mobilock yesterday (after hours to leave a message), He calls me this morning to set up an appointment and was at my place when he said he would arrive! Color me impressed. Also, he worked very quickly and efficiently which is impressive because the make of my car is difficult to re-key.

I lost my only key to my 2014 V-Star 1300 Motorcycle. The ignition was too complicated for me to remove and talking the bike to shop was out of the question. After failed attempts to have a locksmith cut keys to my matching saddlebags, and after failed attempts to obtain the key code from the manufacturer and dealership, I had Eric and Mobilock Security referred to me. Eric Eggen from Mobilock is a true pro! He went the "extra mile" to say the least! I live in West Sonoma on the "river" . I called many locksmiths in Santa Rosa area hardly nobody serviced area & if did they quoted me major $$$$ to program key fob as I had push start car. Was referred by garage in town. Ed, was timely in getting out to us for service and fast at solving the issue. He had to basically fix the work of another mobile lock smith that screwed up the cutting of the key and didn't do a proper job of programming the key. He is professional, friendly and did a great job. Now I know who to go to for any mobile lock smith needs.

As a local automotive shop owner. I have seen a lot of mobil locksmiths. Eric is one of the best i have ever dealt with. Our modern vehicles have a lot more components to deal with than they used to. As a person with no male counterpart to accompany me to get car repairs, buy cars, etc (it's a new status for me--I am widowed) I really really appreciate being treated fairly when I spend money wrt anything automobile. Recently I've needed to deal with some things automotive.
I needed an extra auto key for a car. I spoke with several locksmiths and got quite differing prices, one of them seemed, even in my uninformed opinion, pretty steep. If they responded at all, I think locksmiths are pretty busy people.

My absolute HERO! I also want to say he is my knight in shining amour and every other wonderful names I can throw out. I say this because I brilliantly locked my keys in my trunk. By doing this the way I did and with the car I own, it is almost next to impossible to get into the car. The car's security doubles up when you try to have AAA come out and go thru the window to try and unlock. By the way, I have not mentioned I was stuck in Gualala with my purse in the car. I had an issue with our 2001 Toyota Tacoma where the key would not insert all the way into the ignition. Gave Eric a call and as I was describing the problem he said "you don't happen to have a Toyota do you?"
Eric warned me upfront when the key doesn't insert all the way there's a possibility he'd have to drill out the ignition assembly, thus destroying a pretty expensive part. He told me he'd do everything he could to try an avoid that scenario.

I had to call Eric yesterday to remove a key from my still running car.
I had previously went to another locksmith who said he couldn't help me and called the Chevy dealer who said that they would need to break the lock assembly and that would be very costly.
Eric diagnosed the problem immediately, quoted me a very fair price and proceeded to fix the problem perfectly. He was very fair and did not try and mislead me by suggesting I would need anything more that what was actually necessary.
I'm very happy I called him, and would again if I ever have any future locksmithing needs.
