Due to a hailstorm our insurance company paid to replace a roof Comal Roofing installed a couple of years ago. We originally called them back and they provided another quote, but when we tried to schedule the job the quote suddenly went up by $2,000. There were a lot of damaged structures in the area and my guess is they were taking advantage of it.
Another company undertook the job and found out that Comal Roofing had not only forgotten to seal around the chimney, causing water damage, but that they had installed several shingles reversed with the sealing stripes up. Oops.
