The company is a sole proprietorship owned by Darin Schweickart and has two locations in Maysville, Kentucky and Hillsboro, Ohio. Darin knows the key to a successful design company is client satisfaction. DS2 strives to always make themselves as accessible to the client as possible. Their philosophy is to always provide the client with what they want: quality design services provided in a timely manner and at a reasonable fee.

Darin is a 1996 graduate of Miami University, where he received a Bachelor of Environmental Design and a minor of Urban Design. In 1998, Darin attended Louisiana Tech University where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture. There he focused his studies on a thesis paper based on his interest in historic preservation.

Took months to get drawings for a 50x40 post frame house drawn. It sometimes took Darin over a week to respond to email, text, or phone call. Finally got the plans ,at twice the projected price, and found out they are not to scale, plumbing was drawn to commercial code not residential, and there are dimensions on interior walls that are missing. Not a complete list of problems. Very poor quality slow and expensive work.
