K&M Outdoor Services was started in 2015 with a mission to provide top notch service to Cottage Grove, Woodbury, Hastings and the surrounding areas. We are a small family owned company, run out of our home between cottage grove and hastings. I started mowing for my school district when I was 16 years old during the summer break, and also maintained 20 properties in my home town of Beloit Wi.
K&M Outdoor Services offers professional lawn mowing for a beautiful manicured look to your yard. We accept all yard sizes from the small to the large property residential customer. At every service our customers receive a manicured, and striped yard, trimming, and blowing off of all walks, drives and patios.
K&M Outdoor Services offers many different landscaping services. To start with we offer new flower bed install using different types of edging, be it stone, black edging, or just a defined edge. In these beds we can install mulch, rock, or rubber mulch. Using a design software we can take a picture of your desired area and create any landscape, placing the plants, trees, shrubs, bushes and any feature you may desire.
We can create a quiet, slow moving water fall or fast moving, dramatic waterfall that adds a nice ambiance to your space. Put just a few lights either in the waterfall or on the outside can add a whole different look. After the install of the feature we can softscape the edges by adding mulch and some plants.
We are able to offer snow removal for small to large properties and everything in between. We offer per push, Monthly, and seasonal contracts. We are willing to work with our customers on what inch trigger works for them and their budget. We travel to Cottage Grove, Woodbury, St. Paul, and Minneapolis.

Wouldn't recommend K&M at all. Wasn't getting weekly lawncare but getting charged for it until confronted. Went on for 2 months, 2nd month kept data to show proof. Was suppose to have monthly weed/grass killed along building monthly, happened once during summer and was on K&M all thru summer. Winter snow plowing, terrible. Came during the night, during the storm, never came back after storm to do a finale cleaning and plowing. Employees parking had 10" snow to walk through. Plowed areas that was instructed NOT to plow as just had work done and caused damaged. Quality terrible. Customer service

He either forgot to do my yard, or over booked! When I would remind him he would say he’d be there to get the work done, but he never showed. I would remind him again and he would just make excuses! Eventually it got to late in the year, and too late to hire someone else, someone reliable!

Terrible follow through. I called on a Saturday to inquire about getting an estimate. Was told to text my name, address and email to Matt and he would call me back on Monday to schedule a time to come to our house. Three days later did not hear back so texted him again. He replied with "sorry trying to get caught up". Two weeks later, still has not contacted me. Understand this is busy time of year but don't commit to something if can't follow through.
