I recently added a solar battery to my house. I already had solar panels and wanted a back up option to help with blackouts and to help save on my electricity bill. The team at Ambrose was very helpful in explaining the whole process. I received a quote that was accurate and a easy payment process that let me pay off the battery in three installments. The technicians arrived for install as scheduled and had everything set up in a few hours. They also showed respect for my home and fully cleaned the space when they were done. In August, Ambrose Solar completed installing solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall battery at my home. Before the project was completed, Charissa Fontaine from Ambrose, advised me that I was eligible for a rebate from PG & E and began thecumbersome process of applying for this SGIP (Self Generation Incentive Program). During the whole process she kept me well informed of the progress and made sure all the paperwork that was required was submitted properly and I then received my rebate. Strongly Recommended. We recently had our solar system installed by Ambrose after dealing with a previous solar company and them not working out for us as they kept delaying the process and blaming it on the city permits. Ambrose went above and beyond and helped us get things situated with what the other company had started. Ambrose installed Bird Guards on my solar panels and upgraded my solar monitoring system. Customer service was awesome and super responsive. Always followed up, treated me fantastically. Hannah was superb and really made things super easy. Ambrose Solar did an excellent job with my solar project. It was such a pleasure to work with Tori. He explained everything and answered all my questions during the initial virtual consult. Noelle was my project manager and she kept me well informed on where we were at in the approval process with the city. Once the project began, the installation team arrived on time. We have a ground mounted 9 kW system, 25 panels. It performs exactly as advertised and meets our needs completely. Paul did a great job evaluating the size of the system that we need and explaining how the process works. The construction crews did an excellent job in all phases of the installation. For the last several years my True Up has been doubling and have a huge pigeon problem. Spoke with Hanna for my existing solar panels. She set me up with an inspection. Andrew and Daniel responded they were extreamly helpful answering all my questions. They reconnected my enphase monitoring system and explained what to expect in the next few days for it reporting. Excellent people to work with in setting up a solar system from inception to completion. Audrey Coppock was especially helpful in shepherding through all the voluminous paperwork required to finally obtain the SGIP rebate. Without her help it probably would not have happened. Ambrose installed 14 SunPower Panels and a Telsla Powerwall at our house last year. From Ian and Adam in the sales team, Noelle as the project manager, AJ as the construction manager and the electricians they were extremely professional and strong communicators throughout. I had an issue with circuits not being backed up as I had thought and they came out and rectified it. A bonus was getting the state solar battery rebate, which Audrey Coppock patiently walked me through all the back and forth with PG&E and several applications. I strongly recommend the company.

I've held off writing a review until my unit was in use for awhile. 2.5 years later and we are still so thankful we decided to go with Ambrose Solar. During the process, all of the employees (from the owner to the installers) were nothing but professional, courteous and informative. This would be a 5-star rating but for two things. 1) the technician who came to our home did not wear a mask. My husband is 80 years old, and he and I both wore masks, but the technician was inside and close to us for over an hour and never put on a mask despite my suggestions. We were in the midst of having a roof installed and he didn't remove his shoes but rather tracked in bits of tar and lots of gravel and dirt. 2) after he left, someone else from Ambrose emailed asking us to email the passwords and detailed instructions so that he could gain access to our wifi.
