Founded in 1976 in Philadelphia, Ron Sr., started RZ Contracting as a residential and light commercial asphalt paving and concrete company. Having grown up in the business, when Ron Jr. took over the company in 1999, he grew the company to what it is today. Over time, Ron added the equipment and crew needed to serve larger commercial and industrial clients.
For more than 40 years, property managers and facility managers in the Philadelphia greater area have relied on RZ Contracting for commercial paving and sitework. We are proud to offer services to commercial offices, apartments, shopping centers, and multi-family communities. We offer much more than paving.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RZ CONTRACTING!!!! Please stay away from these guys they will burn you. They were general contractors on a whole house remodel and hired my company as the plumbers. Bryant deinhardt was the representative from rz who hired us, I’ve known Bryant for 7 years he was my high school wrestling coach and had a good relationship with him. We did a tremendous amount of work for them and we did a great job. After we did the work we did not hear from Ron or Bryant for months. After multiple phone calls we finally got in touch which is when the excuses started. Ron told us that they

I used RZ for my two joint parking lots at my job site. They were great, on time, and the work was excellent. The neighbors in the area are still complimenting how well our parking lots came out. The paint line, the pitching for the water drains, and the reinstallation of the parking bumpers all came out great. My director of the facility and I could not be more happier of their work.

Ron is a conman. He will smile to your face and once you sign a contract, his true colors will show. I don't even know where to start with what a low life this guy is. He essentially took 6 months longer then promised and the work was horrible. His one workers would talk all day about how he was ripping people off. I got so tired of waiting for him to finish the job, I just ended up paying someone else.
TO TOP TOP IT ALL OFF.... one year after the work was done, I had a, "contractors lien" taken out against my house, because he didn't pay the countertop people or the Plumer

WORST COMPANY to hire for anything that you need done. RZ has no customer service and will promise you that they know how to do anything you want done just to get the business. We thought we were in great hands after our initial meeting but as soon as the project started it was a very bad situation. They leave the job site a mess every day and worst of all don't show up or communicate with you. No one showed up for weeks during our project and would not respond to our calls. We have spent more money fixing their mess than we did to pay them for their work. The owner Ron doesn't show up

Recently my company needed some work done on a business building, and we contacted RZ Contracting for a quote. During the quoting process they were on time, very knowledgeable and priced reasonably.
After deciding to use RZ for our contracting needs, they quickly put us on their schedule. Throughout the entire contracting process RZ kept us updated and were easy to reach via phone, text and email. There were no surprises, and every decision was run by us.
When the peoject was complete, they held a walk through to make sure we were happy with everything. They left the site very clean.
