Leaving leaks during the winter is never wise. Leaks, no matter the season, add to wasted water and utility expenses, so the sooner you address them, the better. Before you go to bed, if the temperature is forecasted to dip below freezing, turn on a faucet with pipes running along an exterior wall for a slow drip.
This keeps the water flowing, which reduces the risk of freezing. It also protects against burst pipes if the water does freeze, because it prevents pressure from building up between the faucet and an ice formation. Add pipe insulation on exposed pipes in your basement, along exterior walls, and outside your home.
Wrap pipes in insulation tubes made from fiberglass or polyethylene to add a layer of protection against freezing. All unheated areas of your home that have pipes need pipe insulation on the pipes. Disconnect outdoor pipes by loosening the hose and turning off the valve leading to the outdoor water spigot.

Absolutely amazing service. The office staff were courteous and were able to get me on the calendar same day. They send you a text when the plumber is on the way with a picture of the person so you know who is arriving at your home. They were able to repair the leak without destroying my bathroom floor, and while I have quite a bit of sheet rock work, that beats foundation and tile work! I would recommend this group to anyone.

These guys are awesome!! I had AC issues yesterday and called the main office and spoke to Matt. He was thorough and very helpful. Matt was able to send a person out within a couple of hours. Gilbert arrived and was professional and told us exactly what we needed to do to get back up and running. We had to wait a day for the AC to thaw out.
