HID Kits also know as HID Conversion Kits or Xenon Lights are plug and play kits designed to replace your factory halogen bulbs with HID Lights. HID Kits provide 3 times more light output compared to stock halogen bulbs that are currently equipped in your car. Each HID Kit comes with two HID Ballasts and two HID Bulbs.
HID Bulbs come in a variety of different applications. For vehicles that came equipped with HID lights from the factory they use specific HID Bulb applications. Those applications are D2S, D2R, D1S, D1R, D4S, D4R, D3S and D3R HID Bulbs. If your vehicle did not come with HID lights from the factory and you have a HID Conversion Kit installed than the applications are different.
HID accessories are components used along with xenon hid kits. HID relay harness, HID cancellers and HID capacitors are crucial accessories for the installation and performance of xenon HID kits. Both HID relay harness and HID canceller are recommended for each xenon hid kit you install. Failure to install the necessary accessories with your kit can cause the xenon lights to not operate properly.
These LED Conversion Kits are 100% plug and play and do not require any modification for installation. The Led Kits are an upgrade from your stock halogen bulbs that came with your car or truck. LED Kits Produce between 4,000 to 8,000 Lumens while using less wattage from your car. Do not purchase ballasts from these guys. They are poor quality. I learned the hard way when I ordered their top notch 35w and they gave 25% of the output on my hids. When calling to address of course their return policy is "all sales are final" and I'm out $50. Now I know why they have this policy and it's safe to say a lot of their other product categories are below par/garbage as well. Use theretrofitsource.com, they guarantee their products. Or use Amazon, also some crappy stuff but at least you can get a refund if you're not satisfied.

Avoid this place like the plague. Shipped a bunch stuff in a box no directions or anything. Somewhat easy to figure out wiring however nothing worked. They do not answer the phone or emails and only got their attention when the CC company stepped in. Beware all sales are final. I got my product to work but no way are these any where what they advertise. Have another car with factory HIDs and these are not even close to factory brightness. If you do buy good luck getting any type of warranty on them.

This is a consumer beware. HID headlights may be illegal in some States and if you try to return their products even when you explain to them that their Website failed to disclose that the headlights may be illegal in some States they admit no wrong doing and will refund you but will keep 30% restocking fees and shipment costs.
I have been trying to get the Shipping Department on the phone but they only communicate via Email and stonewall you with their refund policy according to them that cannot be waived .
DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCREWED IN THE END.

HID Nation ripped me off of nearly $200. They sent me a faulty HID Kit, I bought the extended warranty, returned the kit for a replacement, received the exact same kit as a replacement. The replacement kit also flickered and was not working right. I was then told to send that kit back for a replacement and that they were waiting for a part for my kit. After several attempts to contact HID nation I gave up. Nearly 4 years later no replacement kit no refund. Stay away from these people take your money else ware and be sure to review the BBB and reviews of the company before you buy. HID nation also

THEIR WARRANTY IS A JOKE!
I purchased an HID kit from this merchant two years ago. I paid them an extra $20 for an optional lifetime warranty on all parts of their system. Since then, I have suffered the failure of three of their ballasts.
I contacted HIDnation today re: my most recent ballast failure and they are now telling me that I must pay to ship them the defective ballast; wait while their "technicians" test it; and then pay them $10 S&H handling for a new ballast if it is deemed defective. All this time, I have only one working headlight. They have the nerve to call this

What a waste of time and lack of product knowledge by multiple clerks (not sales professionals).
I spoke with multiple front desk clerks including the clerk manager before ordering to assure I would receive all of the parts needed for a successful install. All of the clerks gave me info contrary to what their website suggested; stating "our website needs to be updated". I received the product and none of it works! To this day their website still hasn't been updated - apparently the led kit for f02 doesn't need a "canceler" even thought the website says its strongly
