The day before the roof job began the rep texted to confirm the name of the shingle we'd agreed on. The next morning shingles were delivered. Then on a Sunday the shingles were being put on and I discovered they were the wrong brand. I had made the mistake of thinking they were supposed to be a different color so that was when I noticed the mistake. I called the rep and asked what they recommended we do - finish the job and possibly reroof or stop and wait a day leaving things exposed. He suggested to move forward and finish. These guys do TOP QUALITY roofing, start to finish! Once they got here and bid my job, they didn't insist that a portion of my roof all had to be done at once (several other guys tried to con me into that!). They said that part was fine, and concentrated on the part that wasn't fine. I got a great price, quick start, and the prep and care of my home and grounds was outstanding. Cleanup was amazing. They corrected some issues on my chimney flashing, too, and stopped all the leaks in my 32 year old roof! Just a really good crew in all aspects! I can recommend them without hesitation. We called for a bid to redo the drip edge on our older home. We saw from another reviewer that they had worked with older homes, which essential for working our 1907 house. (We’ve found that some companies just don’t have the skills to work on them and when they do, it’s bad work.) Glade was very knowledgeable and helpful and finally we decided that we didn’t need to get it redone. We really appreciated the honesty. We will call them again without hesitation.

WOW - Shaw Roofing to the rescue. They removed a 116 years of roofing off my two-story house, shimmed and redecked the entire roof and then reroofed with new shingles. This was a big job and they handled it well. They used the best, state of the art materials. They were organized, professional, comminicated well and I couldn't give them a better recommendation. Horrible experience. Made an appointment to get an estimate. I work nights so 10am is hard on me but I was up and ready. Standing on my porch 10am sharp no one comes. Called at 11:30 got voice mail. My boyfriend called got voice mail. After I get home from work late I see a card no note on my door. I called there office left another voicemail to ask what happened. I get a call today at 1:05 pm the first man says there was no appointment scheduled for me I was confused because they left a card. Then he asks my boyfriend's name I gave it then another man gets on the phone and tells me off Claimes

They did respond quickly so that's definitely a plus. His response was to call him which I did. He told me he had some places in the area they were going to do roofing for and that he would call me back. This was a week ago. I wasn't told when I would get a call back, but a week in my opinion is plenty considering it's raining a lot and the leak isn't closing itself. It seems like they are disorganized. The service is friendly other than no responses and leaving me hanging.

Loved working with Abe and Glade, and their AMAZING team! These guys worked so hard, yet effeciently. Most impressive was their ability to do things on the 'fly'...they didn't get flustered when we changed direction or added an extra task. Always thorough with their clean up each day, and very careful work on our very old home. I'd recommend them to anyone.

We had Shaw Roofing replace our very old roof and I am thoroughly impressed with the company overall. Abe Shaw returned our phone calls quickly, answered all of our questions and explained all of our options. The crew showed up on time, worked hard and left our yard in good condition. Shaw Roofing tore off three layers of old shingles (including old cedar shakes) on our historic home that was built in 1890. We selected Shaw Roofing because they are very experienced with old homes and with doing complete tear-offs (especially in the Avenues).

From the minute we contacted Shaw roofing we knew we were in very capable hands. We had several bids but just had a better feeling about the bid and information we received from Shaw up front. I recently selected Shaw Roofing to replace a traditional shingle and membrane roof that had not seen any significant improvements or upkeep since the house was remodeled in 1951. As an absentee landlord, I was concerned that it would be easy for a contractor to find excuses to pad the initial quote or add in unforeseen expenses along the way.
The project was completed ahead of schedule and with no significant breaks from the contracted amount (despite some unanticipated complications due to long-term leaking and decay).
