Our story began in 1953 when Jim Whitaker decided to get out of the sand and gravel business and start a utility construction company with a pickup truck, a shovel, and one helper. Now his company has become one of the most respected contractors in the intermountain area with more than 400 employees and nearly 50 crews.
We also love our communities and are very proud of the great projects that we complete to make our make our cities and country a great place to live and prosper. We love the amazing people from the many cities, and public and private entities that we work with on a daily basis. We want to ensure a bright future for our Whitaker family and communities, and be around for a long time building the best projects.
