Silvey Construction was founded in 1972 by Mike Silvey, the president and owner of the company. In 2001 the business was incorporated. In 2004 Mike's son Jared joined the business. Silvey Construction is now in its Third generation of builders. Raised in a family of builders, Mike learned the business from his father.

In the beginning Silvey Construction built speculative and custom homes in the Spokane area. In the mid 1980's a previous customer asked Silvey Construction to build him a dental office on Spokane's South Hill. This led to a referral for a second dental building. Since that time Silvey Construction has become the leading builder to the dental community in the Inland Northwest and North Idaho.

Silvey Construction has built over 100 dental offices over the years, numerous medical buildings, and other highly technical and specialized buildings. In addition, we have developed and constructed retail strip malls, industrial buildings, fire stations, professional offices, high tech data facilities, research facilities, and warehouses.

Residential Report

Although we have shifted to primarily commercial construction we still love building custom homes and lake cabins for our customers. In fact many of our dental, medical, and commercial customers have asked us to build their homes in addition to their offices, making Silvey Construction the only developer and contractor you will ever need.

Their background of dental offices made them a perfect resource for some updating ideas and goals we had. I have worked with Silvey Construction several times over the last 20 years. They have completed several projects for me, ranging from a home remodel to a large commercial office building. Their knowelge and expertise is valuable from the start of a project until after the completion. The best thing one can ask about a contractor is "Would you use them again?". Without hesitation, I would answer "Yes".

I have two buildings with Silvey and will use them for my next building as well. They build a QUALITY product that stands the test of time. I find them to be very easy to work with and make the process as painless as possible. On occasion they may even be silent partners in the building (if you want). In other words, they are willing to own the product they put out. My highest recommendation!

I called and spoke with Dell. I explained my situation and he said “I don’t do that. Okay?” And then disconnected the call. Horrible service. And the guy sounded very confused. I would recommend never calling them.
