Shannon did a fantastic job removing 12 large hemlocks on our property line. He and his team showed up exactly when they said they would, removed all of the trees in 2 days, and cleaned up the area flawlessly. Additionally, Shannon dealt with an unprofessional vegetation contractor from the power company who was doing work in an adjacent area that interfered with his work WITHOUT allowing any slip or issues with his efforts. He did a great job removing our trees, grinding the stumps, and furnishing mulch to us and our neighbors for garden use. 10/10 recommend.

I called Shannon Hand Tree Service this morning to get a quote for the removal of a tree including stump removal. I spoke with Shannon who offered me to come by right away. He arrived less than 10 minutes later to provide a VERY competitive quote and I made the decision to get the removal scheduled. Shannon offered to take care of it right away - and 20 minutes later he and his team showed up! They did an amazing job! In under an hour they took the tree down, got rid of the stump, and cleaned everything up to the point where nobody would ever be able to tell that a tree was just laying across the

Shannon did a great job removing two trees. His price was competitive and the quality of the work was exceptional . The two trees were were down and removed in two hours. His crew is knowledegable and the yard was cleaned of all debris. I highly recommend Shannon.

Coming from a tree service family, I understand what a tree service needs to set themselves apart from the rest. I have known Shannon since I was young. He is very good at what he does, providing expert advice and service for tree health and removals. He has been in the business for over 30 years. He recently took down 3 trees for me that were between my neighbors and I and also took down 3 of my neighbors trees that were close to the main road. Him and his crew were quick to respond to my call and schedule a time to do the job. He even cut my neighbor's wood to firewood length and brought it over

I think this is the third time I hired Shannon and definitely the last. The first time I did hire him for grinding stumps, the second time , I hired him for removing a tree and both times he did adequate work. When he did my last job we were talking about several projects on the property and I did ask him if he could excavate a pool and a patio and he said if I ever want to , he would be happy to send me guys and a machine which could handle the job.
So when I did contact him a couple weeks ago, he said he will see when he can send me someone. He came kind of short notice because he needed work

Work done well. However dishonest billing practices. Quoted a per day fee to remove an old metal fence. They were there for 3 hours and 10 minutes and charged the full days fee. When confronted Shannon stood by his fee and stated he quotes per day fee and that by the time he left his shop and did our job and got back it was a full day. So we recieved three hours of work and dumping of material but were asked to pay full days fee. This is dishonest. Get it in writing. His per day fee is a flat fee that he expects no matter how long it takes. Be aware before you do business.

I couldn't be happier with the work Shannon just completed for me! We had a large, dangling and dangerous branch on a tree by our house. Shannon was at my home less than an hour after I called and within 45 mins the problem was solved! And at a reasonable rate! I will be reaching out to him for more work in the future! Highly recommend!

We've worked with Shannon and his expert team for 20 years now. We have a 4+ acre estate with some of the largest trees on the East coast and extensive gardens.
