Federico Scipioni's ancestors and traditions arise from Italy. The most famous, Publius Cornelius Scipioni Africanus, Roman general who defeated Hannibal in the Second Punic War (218 to 201 BC). Federico was taught as a young boy and motivated by his ancestors, who were also artists, in the art of fine glass work.
He realized his passion for glass and Italian designs by being surrounded by multiple familial generations of European traditions, influenced by history and art. Stained Glass Of Miami is a third-generation business first established in Italy by the Scipioni family.

We specialize in green and environmentally friendly artwork in Vitreaux and Stained Glass. Let us design new ideas in Stained Glass for your project and the challenges that we propose. Restoration does not necessarily mean fixing a broken glass. The restoration of a Stained Glass means to recover its former splendor and glory.
We specialize in custom Stained Glass work repair. Repair or fix means in some cases, completely disarming the stained glass to replace one of its pieces, glass or supports that may be of lead, brass, copper and Zinc. Once the piece is replaced, we proceed to the assembly and cleaning of the artwork.
Stained Glass Of Miami offers construction and installation (with or without impact glass) of French Stained Glass artwork made with materials such as hand-crafted antique or hand blown glass, bronze, silver, zinc, lead and copper. Stained Glass Of Miami works with a multitude of architects, designers, decorators, general contractors and homeowners which makes a great team.
Stained Glass Of Miami also offers maintenance and cleaning of stained glass. One example is the dome and the stained glass ceiling which requires constant cleaning to prevent deterioration of the lead and the materials used to keep the glass from moving. Stained glass paintings also requires maintenance and cleaning since most pieces, over the course of time, will get darker and lose its brilliance.
Consultation in Stained Glass includes various aspects such as evaluation of the damage, evaluation of environmental light, protection and isolation. The detailed inspection is one of the most important aspects in considering a new project where we can list the pros and cons of a restoration of an already installed Stained Glass or recreation of the same artwork.

In regards to Federico’s response, he had the opportunity to fix the lamp and instead he damaged it! I would not accept his offer to take it in again to his studio because I do NOT trust him and consider he does not have the skills to. If not why wouldn’t he do it correctly in the first place? When I confronted him he told me to excuse him because ha had a bad day! Very profesional don’t you think? The honest, right thing would be to give me a refund for the damage caused, since I need to have it repaired to remove the horrible soldier done and the damage to the cap’s original Patina!

Federico did a horrible, unprofessional job repairing my stained-glass Tiffany style lamp. He said he was a professional “an artist in the field” and that had experience repairing these types of lamps. I wish I had known he had no idea what he was doing before trusting him with the job. Because of the weight of the lamp, the upper hardware was ceding, and the glass was starting to pop off.

Frederico saved an important glass panel that we had commission with another artist more than 20 years ago. Due to negligence cause by a contractor working in our home, part of the glass was cracked. After the replacement of the broken piece, the panel was restored to its original beauty. Frederico delivered the repaired panel including installation to its original location.
