Heat went out about 3 weeks ago. Justin came out and discovered the problem. He said the part would be around $700 and he would have to see about the availability. I have lived in this house for years so I'm aware of the repairs. Neither the owner nor I heard back from Chad's. She called Harrison's because a family member had recommended them. The owner came out, said what the problem was and left to find the part. Less than an hour later he was back with the part and it only cost $450. She canceled the maintenance package she had with Chad's. Chad's told me my compressor was bad less than a year

These folks know their business & are always prompt, polite, and professional. The Annual Contract I just bought is an absolute bargain for those people who actually have bi-annual maintenance done on there equipment. Have called them for Emergency Service (at night & on a Holiday weekend), they came right out and had me fixed up in no time for an Unbelievably low price.

Chad's installed our a/c unit over ten years ago. We are on this plan where he comes out twice a year to service our unit for the winter, then the summer. We are very pleased with this service. Their not gonna tell you that you need to buy another A/C unless its absolutely necessary. There Prices are the best . Their service is the fastest and most efficient. Many, many years ago I was with the Trane Air conditioning company and appreciate the complexity of this industry. Knowing that my home air conditioning unit was nearing the age when it would fail, I had several discussions with Chad relating to new equipment. I called Chad's to service my mini-split and they sent out a tech, Justin, who after 20 minutes said he needed a part and would have to leave. He ended up staying three more hours but accomplished nothing, he eventually said he felt sick and left. I didn't hear back from them for a week so I called. Finally they sent Colin out and he disassembled my entire unit, did not repair it, and left it to where it didn't heat OR cool. It at least put out Heat before he touched it. Now I am left with a busted mini-split with a permanent error code and Chad's won't answer my calls

With the temperatures rising and people needing Freon added to their units, I thought it might be helpful to post my experience for others that might need an HVAC technician.
I have an older unit (12 years) that was low on Freon. It is an R22 system- for those of you unfamiliar, R22 has been phased out and the R22 liquid refrigerant is quite expensive compared to the newer freon.
I called Chad's A/C direct and asked them what they would charge to fill up my unit with R22 freon. They told me their price for R22 was $98/ pound + a $75 service call fee.
That seemed on the higher end so I

We had 2 units replaced and a third just required repair maintenance. The three separate crews were all very professional, prompt, and knowledgeable. I would recommend this company to anyone needing HVAC. I would especially like to thank technician Chad Broadway for troubleshooting another company's mistake. I don't expect to need them in the near future but I am reassured that they are in the background when they are needed.
