Q: What is the condition that Core Aeration will improve to make my lawn healthier and greener? A: Over time your soil naturally becomes compacted, leaving the subsoil undesirable for healthy lawn growth. Walking, playing, mowing, and watering all compact particles and reduce the air space necessary for root growth.
Compaction is greatest in the upper 1 to 1-12 inches of soil and needs to be relieved by mechanical aeration. A: The mechanical aeration process plugs 2-3 inch deep, finger size holes into the soil to improve the air, water, and nutrient exchange with your roots. A: Core Aeration stimulates root growth, improves oxygen content, enhances water uptake, enhances thatch control, reduces compaction, and improves nutrient availability.
A: Lawns can have bare patches or thin turf for any number of reasons: drought, thatch build-up, disease or insect damage to name a few. When lawn renovation is needed, slit seeding can solve the problem quickly and economically. Slit seeding is done by a machine with slicing knives that cut through the thatch and open a slit 14-inch into the soil.

I've had their service for several years. In the beginning they were great, lawn never looked better. Last two years, terrible. Edges of the property never get treated, therefore have crabgrass all around my fence and driveway. More crabgrass throughout than ever either. My neighbors use a different service, their company has already been out three times this year, Greenworks, once! Forget about trying to talk to a live human being, because all you get is there answering service. My tech only made three passes on my front lawn, leading to striping of shades of green. I can do that myself. Not to

We have been having a terrible time with our lawn. We had a landscaper come and clear out a huge area of our lawn and put in new seed. It looked great for a while. We used a private landscaper who applied necessary weed preventers, fertilizer etc, but didn't have any luck. Tried Greenworks and I have more weeds and new weeds in my lawn than I ever had. I dealt with John and he had an answer for everything. He was never wrong. He actually told me that I will continue to have weeds because I don't have enough grass in places. I said to him, "why didn't you tell me that before I spent all this money

We had been with the company for a few years- the first 3 years were great. However, last year they killed/destroyed our lawn, it all died. We called early this spring to cancel services, the “new” owner told us he is new this season and could help with our lawn and asked us to give him a chance. We agreed. First service and our lawn is died......again. I call to cancel and he says he is going to have his manager call me the next day to set up a time to come out and see the lawn/talk - that was over 2 weeks ago and I haven’t heard from them. Terrible lawn service and customer service!!! I

After moving from an island in the Pacific Northwest to a beautiful home on Aquidneck Island, Rhode Island, we discovered our lawn was inundated with weeds. As new movers, we were also inundated with phone calls from this corporate outfit - TruGreen - who gave us an unreliable service “estimate” based on a satellite view of our property from Google Maps. After two “extra treatments" by TruGreen were unsuccessful in removing the weeds - we got in touch with GreenWorks because we heard good things. Jonathan came out personally to inspect our lawn and advise us that GreenWorks all-inclusive

We have just ended our 3 year relationship with them. Our lawn looked awful this year. They came over a month ago and said it was cinch bug damage which been very bad this year. But that's kind of what we pay them to handle. So they spread something and we made an arrangement for them to come back in 2 weeks and do some reseeding for which we would pay $360. I've been trying and trying to get them back ...just not showing up. Wish we could keep them but lawn is a mess.

This company is a joke, I called on a Friday for an estimate spoke to the owner, I was told that they would be at my home on Monday never showed up and newer called. After calling them on Monday night they told me it was a busy day they would be there on Tuesday, received the estimate on Tuesday called them that night to give the ok. The next morning I received a call I offered to pay in full via credit card, I was told they would call me after 400pm to proceed with my credit card I have not heard from them in Two days, I guess they do not need the business? Now I’m sure the owner will respond

Terrible service. Promised me results only to come up short. Never received service unless I called to find out when they were coming. Was promised they would be there and still no show. No communication at all. My lawn looked much better when I treated it myself. Don't mind paying but the service was terrible. I'll go back to taking care of my lawn myself. I would not recommend this company, unless you like begging for service. I had high hopes but I extremely disappointed.
