Glenview Glass and screen Inc. is a family owned business established in 1990 by Donald R Hall. Its location "Glenview" is a township in the unincorporated county of El Cajon. The Hall family (Glenview Glass & Screen) has a very rich family lineage. The Halls go back five generations of doing business in El Cajon.
Customers have many different options available when considering new windows. Windows can come in a wide variety of styles and materials, each with different advantages. Casement style windows excel at catching breezes for ventilation, while vinyl windows are cost effective and add insulation. Glass offers benefits and functionality to consider as well.
Mirrors can do wonders to the look and fell of a room. They visually expand rooms, they bring light into previously unlit areas, they enhance and bring the outdoors inside when strategically placed. The hot item these days in the shower door business is the heavy glass frameless systems which employ 3/8" or 1/2" tempered glass and architecturally appealing hardware to match most fixtures and finishes. Glenview Glass & Screen Inc can help every step of the way from design to installation. We also furnish and install traditional framed or semi framed shower door and slider systems and steam shower enclosures.
We at GG&S can provide and install complete window screens, sliding screen doors, swinging screen doors, roll-away type screen doors, canopy type roll down window screens for outswinging or dbl hung windows. We stock frames and screen materials for most applications. We can fabricate privacy screens or any type of screen system your home or office requires.

Glenview Glass is a top notch Door and window installation contractor. They do wonderful work in a prompt and timely fashion. Denise, Dave and Craig run a great shop. I was given the name and number from Dixieland. I called and spoke with David. He explained that due to COVID, they were down staff and I truly understood. He was able to get someone out to take measurements for closet doors within 2 weeks. Here we are a month later and I haven't heard back with a quote or if they would be able to do the job. I did reach out and was told they would get back to me. I'm very disappointed with this company and DIXIELAND for the giving me the referral in the 1st place. I could've looked and will look for another company to replace my doors.

Being the owner of the top Window Cleaning company in East County, I've had to discontinue my screen repair service within the last 2 years. I had three closets with double doors on them from the 50's. They were no longer stable so I called to inquire about replacing them. Dave sent out someone to measure then came up with a quote. It was reasonable so I had the work done. It was superb. My house was not exactly squared off and the closets were not square so precise measurements had to be taken to have the doors made. When the installers came, they put down plastic and tarps prior to removing the old doors and frame. They did a wonderful job. The installers vacuumed and left the area spotless. These ladies are the best! I needed my mother-in-law's china hutch glass replacement that was all broken, in a move. The replaced glass they made, fit in the wooden, fitted grooves exactly, the finished edge was better than the original and perfect looking! They made it ready to move safely and all packed up for me! Will always go here for glass. No where else!
