Everything in the recent reviews is true. The craftsmanship is poor. I don't think these homes could withstand a strong wind. After heavy rain in Gardena, woke up to some water seepage on the first floor sliding door. I have a furnace that won't turn on at night. I have cabinets with crooked handles. I have a shower head that leaks when the faucet runs. I have random nicks and cuts on the shower tiles. The countertop granite has terrible blemishes.
I will say they have been responsive in trying to make amends but these are way too many issues for a home built this year.

My daughter and son in law bought a home In Fillmore ,CA in September. Did a couple walk thrus before getting a key.To make sure everything was working and looking good . They moved in and had to wait for them to repaint the garage and the kitchen head fan. They took like a little over a month to fix that.As they were fixing the head fan the guys scratched the cabinets and still waiting to hear back from them. There bedroom started leaking a week ago. This is not a small leak let me tell you !!They have 4 buckets on the floor so it won't damage the carpet.And they supposedly send workers

Enough is Enough. Please be aware of the horrible construction KB Homes offers. Bad quality from the start of the construction. I personally mentioned my concerns to sales, current superintendent and now with Danny and Jackie from customer relations. I seriously thought things were going to get better but instead keep getting worst. Today, several serious issues keep getting pushed to the side. There are many issues that could of been prevented but the lack of communication just makes it impossible to get good quality homes built. I just don't speak without proof below you can see how bad

We moved into our home in February and still waiting to get things completed. Replaced double oven, electrical problems, tile floor in shower, cabinet door with hole, flooring, water leaking out of the shower enclosure, holes under counter cabinets, gas stove not connected, garage door problems, electrical wiring cut to short, and the list goes on. I've written letters, contacted everyone from the list I was given and still not complete. We are forced to live under these conditions and KB is not interested. They truly are the worse builders and they get away with it. My advice, stay clear

This is the worst builder ever!! A popular real estate blogger was sharing about their job on june 22nd and I know the same type of house from KB and I have the exact same problems!! The quality of literally the worst!! GUYS DONT BUY THEIR HOUSES AS I DID!! They're promised a good quality but what you get can be barely called a house!! This is the worst builder ever!!! Be very very careful and try not to buy it

BEWARE of KB homes. I had the worst experience with their sales reps. They were trying to get me to commit to one of their cookie cutter town homes before they would tell me what everything would cost. I was questioning why it would cost an additional $85, 000 for the standard fixtures that was of very poor quality. The sales rep couldn't explain it and originally said it would only cost $45,000 when I met with her 2 days prior. I realized the only thing they care about is getting the most money out of you for their cheap properties and moving on to the next construction project. I did some

I am still trying to request an immediate refund of monies I paid up front for purchase of a new KB home on Cumberland Ranch, 9620 Langden Brook St ($3,000 earnest and $2,800 (10% of upgrades).
I entered this transaction in good faith and now feel I am a victim of a "bait and switch" tactic.
I visited Cumberland Ranch in Las Vegas NV in June of 2020. KB Homes steered me to their in-house home loan company KBHS Home Loans. I provide all financial documents requested by KBHS Home Loans and was advised that based on my income and P/L (I am a small business owner), I would easily qualify

Retaining Wall built by KB Home is failing. No engineer report or building permit on file.
I purchased a home in this development in about 2007. Beyond my backyard fence, there is a retaining wall that is in the process of failing. In segments, it is leaning over 20 degrees, and bricks are crumbling. A contractor advised me that the wall was built without re-bar, without drainage, without a proper foundation and will completely fail in 1-2 years. The results will be serious.
The property is located in the Sterling Ranch development in Frisco Texas. The properties affected are 6544, 6560 and 6576

Their customer service is terrible. No response from corporate after several emails complaining about the attitude of the sales guy. I started talking about price and the he basically told me to take a hike. Every was great until I brought up price. They don't want to negotiate or even give a kind answer, like sorry we can't do that. Instead, my guy said I'll just shred your deposit check. Not the way to treat a customer that's about to make one of the biggest purchases in their life. Their motto "built on relationships" doesn't hold water.
