He LISTENED to what I wanted and he delivered. He walked around my driveway and EXPLAINED everything and told me WHY. If I disagreed, he explained WHY the driveway needed to be done that way. He did EXTRA things, such as add rock/asphalt to make the surface level (very sloped) and wrapped the edge on the thick side of my driveway. He elevated the level against my house so the water would drain away. He paved into my ditch and surrounded the pipe with asphalt. He showed up ON TIME. Did everything we agreed to. He even signed a contract I drew up and refused money until after the work was completed

We had a great experience with Dave Stanley. We got several estimates, some of them lower, but the contractors with lower quotes didn't follow through with the job. Dave's quote was only $100 more but he was incredibly responsive - everything was done exactly how and when he described it. Not only did his crew do a nice job in a reasonable time, but they were able to do it sooner than they initially thought.
I couldn't be happier and would gladly recommend his work to anyone.

Mr. Stanley and his crew are some of the most courteous, professional contractors I've ever worked with. They were more than fair on their pricing, delivered exactly what they promised they would (a beautifully paved drive), and got the job done well within their estimated date of completion. I will be calling them again when the need arises.

I came on here to report the near death experience that just happened to me thanks to one of the drivers of this company. Imagine my surprise when I see another review stating that this company employs terrible, murderous drivers. Considering their poor decision-making abilities in regards to hiring, I would not recommend this company to anyone anywhere at anytime. The driver of the dump truck that belongs to this company ran my car (containing my two children and I) off of the road. OFF of the road for no reason.

No idea about how this company is, however the truck drivers are horriable drivers. Driver with license plate VA 35-989 was driving extreamly aggressive and cutting cars off on interstate 64 on 6/17/2017 at 5:40 pm in the rain. He was taking photographs of other drivers as he passed them. He drove on the right shoulder passing vehicles then back onto the highway where he continued cutting off drivers. Extreamely dangerous and very unprofessional driving like a maniac while driving a dump truck. Based on the driving of the truckers at this company I would not recommend them. No excuse or reason
