Introspecs is a woman-owned business celebrating collaborative relationships with our design + build community here in the Pacific Northwest. Allisen is the founder and Principal Designer of Introspecs and her combination of right- and left-brain skills keeps everything humming along. She loves using her creativity, intuition and practical insights to shape space and connect with people.
With our deep expertise and our stellar communication skills you can rest assured that your project is in good hands. All projects differ but here's a general sense of the steps along the way from first conversation to completed project - and beyond. Typically, after a phone conversation the first step is an initial meeting.

We used Introspecs as our interior designer to assist with the planning and implementation of a major remodel to our home. We worked directly with Virginia Gormley (Senior Designer), and even our high expectations were far exceeded with the beautifully completed remodel project. We were so happy working with Virginia, the smooth efficient planning process, and the stunning end result.

As a designer and owner of a remodeling firm I collaborate with Allisen on various projects. On our most recent collaboration we met with the clients and discussed some challenging issues with furniture placement their fireplace and the windows. We had the basic concept down, but needed some outside input to help us finalize what we wanted to accomplish. She brought some original ideas and helped us solve the last design challenges to help us keep the project moving. We recently worked with Allisen from Introspecs to design a new kitchen for our midcentury forest dwelling. The existing kitchen was the original from the 40s and was barely serviceable. The strange, L-shaped kitchen provided few opportunities for new, modern appliances and kitchen layouts. The design task was daunting so we reached out to Introspecs for a design quote.
