Mitchell & Cruse Architecture, LLC was founded on hard work and determination in 2013 by Larry Mitchell, Architect, and Dean Cruse, Project Manager. Having lived and worked in New Mexico for over 20 years, we understand the history, culture and unique character of its people, places, and community values!

Its who we are. We have an outstanding record of providing a high level of customer service, quality architectural design and construction documents. We specialize in a wide variety of architectural design including historic renovation, commercial, educational, institutional, industrial, and residential projects.

We have 50 years of combined experience in all aspects of architectural services, design, construction administration, and project management in Carlsbad and all surrounding areas including West Texas. Services
Larry Mitchell has 22 years of experience in architecture. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is licensed in New Mexico, Nevada, and Montana. He is a 1993 graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Architecture. Additions to Central Elementary School and Penasco Elementary School for the Artesia School District.
Our new address is 102 N. Canyon Street, Carlsbad New Mexico, but our phone number has not changed. It is still 575-689-8400 and our contact email address is still mca@mitchellcruse.com. The new location is across from the courthouse on the corner of Mermod & Canyon Street. We look forward to continuing our working relationship with Mitchell & Cruse in the coming years. They have always given excellent customer service and the quality of their work is always their main focus. Larry and Dean were always available to visit either by phone or in person concering a district concern, idea, or change in the building project.
