DB Pest Solutions

I've relied on DB Pest Solutions several times in the 10 years we've been in our home. Our home is in a heavily wooded area, so from time to time we have pest issues.

Most recently DB Pest Solutions was out in January 2022 to help us with mice in the attic. Dave explained what he found, addressed the source or entry point as he assessed it, and put us on a plan to monitor and eliminate the matter. Pricing was fair and the service was excellent.

We will continue to use and recommend DB Pest Solutions.

I would, without hesitation, highly recommend Dave at DB Pest. He has gone above and beyond to help me deal with a clothing moths issue and a mice issue. I recently bought a house that hadn't been truly lived in for about 4 years. (The previous owners were here so infrequently that the next door neighbors didn't even know them. They also didn't maintain the house properly at all. I clearly didn't know any of this when I bought the house.)

The owner Dave responded immediately. He included a price range, which was very helpful and others did not. He was very knowledgeable. I sent him pics of the bees nests, let him know that I definitely wanted the nests removed (not just sprayed) and we agreed on a price. The guy that came out was on-time, very nice, competent and removed the 2 nests the same day. Dave advised me that he would not be coming but that he had personally trained the associate, who was also very competent. If the bees re-build this season, DB will come back at no cost. The $400+ service for mice control is a borderline scam. The traps they laid caught 0 mice. We still see mice and mice droppings and when asked to return to address the issue, the exterminator didn't even have traps with him. One exterminator broke a door in my basement and just said "it was already like that". Save your time, money and frustrations and hire someone else.

So far, so good! Quick response and fair price. Hopefully, he will catch the squirrels that are getting into the roof!

They did a fine job on what we needed, but I didn't not enjoy the customer service. They never gave a way to pay the invoice (no address to send a check to, no link to pay online) and then called me and told me to do the "honorable thing" by paying them. I'm also 9 months pregnant! Terrible customer service to stress out a pregnant person who is just busy and overwhelmed and didn't have clear directions on how to pay a small bill. Will not be using them again.

Dave and his team are kind and communicative. I paid ~$400 for mouse removal.

Dave seemed confident he could handle the problem. We discussed humane traps, and he agreed to use those. He said he preferred snap traps because they were quick, and that glue traps were inhumane.

There was a gap in between when he came for the consult and when we started, and the problem got worse. When he did come out for the first appointment, I told him to go ahead and just kill them, and he ended up using glue traps. This is based fully on customer service. Never met DB but was able to complete a consult over the phone on a SUNDAY @12:00!! Dave was very nice and very well educated. He provided me with ways to treat and recommended types of treatments he provides. He provided re-assurance and wasn't quick to push treatments and costs. Dave was really nice in looking at our situation and telling us what he could do to help us get rid of the bed bugs i would definitely call him if i ever have any other issues. I felt like he knew what he was doing and was sure of the situation. Definitely recommend! Also had Better prices than any other place that i called, which is very important if you're looking for a job well done and affordability.

When I first contacted DB Pest Solutions regarding a mouse problem, my first point of contact was with Michelle. She was warm and friendly and very accommodating in setting up the initial appointment.
From start to finish, the owner, Dave Bilyk was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. It is quite obvious that he wants to make sure the customer is happy and the problem resolved.

First class experience. Dave helped us with immediate advice on removing hornet nests. We ended up taking his annual service package as it represents a holistic whole house covering a range of pest issues throughout the year.

Not only was Dave super prompt, reliable and professional, but he sure knows his stuff! He came to my home on a Sunday because that was the only day I could see him or I'd have to wait another week. We had ants crawling through the kitchen cabinets and even into our dishwasher. And to make matters worse, we had a pesky mouse too (which he set traps for free and worked in less than 24 hours). He treated the house inside and out for the ants, and explained thoroughly what he was using and how it worked, so I was not concerned about toxicity for my kids or our dog. I've been meaning to write this for a few weeks now but can't say enough about how helpful Dave was with my squirrel issue. He's an upstanding guy who ensures the job is complete and done right. For not knowing many people in the area, I was lucky to stumble upon Dave and his staff. Highly recommend for whatever issue you may have. The ability to pay your invoice online was a nice convenience as well.

Dave gets 5 stars for returning my calls in a reasonable timeframe (including weekends and holidays) and for just being a VERY cool cat in the presence of a VERY uncool chick! ( I have no clue why a mouse makes me come undone, but EW! GET OUT!) Anyway, Dave's price is pretty fair considering he's the owner, he shows up when he says he will, he does a thorough inspection for vulnerabilities and compromises in walls, faucets, etc. and patches them up as needed, and then gets down to the business of trapping and removal. All with a kind and funny personality. ;-)

I can't say enough about Dave! When I discovered mice enjoying the comfort provided by my under-sink cabinets two weeks ago, I was a stereotypically panicked woman:) Dave came out the same day I called, handled my histrionics with ease and immediately set out with a plan to get rid of these unwanted guests. He came out every few days to check and reset our traps and was kind and sympathetic to my many emails and texts (including when my daughter discovered a baby mouse wandering around our finished basement). We are now mouse free and I have found a partner in my quest to keep my home free

Overall, they seem like good people but unfortunately they will not fix your problem- after spending hundreds of dollars and having them come out several times, we still have silverfish. If they were aware of being unsuccessful with eliminating this type of pest, they should not have agreed to. Very disappointed and wish I could have my money back at this point.

Ok, so no one ever want to admit when they have to call an exterminator.... But after one no show and learning that sprays aren't effective for roaches and that's what a lot of companies use, I thought "I NEED to leave some feedback for Dave Bilyk Exterminators!"

After a late night call to Dave last night, and the horrific nightmares of roach attacks that followed, I was desperate to get someone here today, so I followed up with him this morning.
