Mainly as a service company we build from a service man's perspective, which means that we build for function and efficiency. As a Rockland County licensed plumber we adhere to all local plumbing codes, which means things will get done right. We will make any project happen from a restaurant to a 10,000 square foot residence according to blue prints or specifications.
If you currently have oil as a fuel source for your heat and hot water and gas is available in your area we would strongly recommend changing to gas as soon as possible. Although oil burns hotter and gives more heat per BTU than gas, natural gas simply is still cheaper to use per BTU then oil. It is that simple.

I called to hire for service. They came out to repair, however they needed a part which was told 3-4 days to receive turned into 3 weeks! Never received call ,always had to call them. Finally after the part came I. I was told another piece was needed!! When called the office , a very unprofessional and rude lady answered the phone with and was NO help! I ordered the technician to return broken part and I hired a professional who fixed the faucet in 1 day! Poor customer service and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!

Have a second job if you ever work for these guys they left me out to dry when things got slow and never returned a call I quit my job to fulfill a hvac career and thought this would be great but even if you seem highly interested they still play unfair watch this company ! .

I got their name from my neighbor and called them to look at a tricky job regarding a leaking condenser on the roof of a 2 story building...I also called 3 other contractors to look at it...everyone else said I needed to replace the whole system at a cost of $6500 to $7600 to do the job...
Demetri from A-Jay was the only one who was up to date on the latest equipment and recommended a unit to replace the broken one for $3200...with warranties...I went with them and they followed though with an excellent job....
Like my neighbor recommending them to me ...I will recommend them to you....

My experience with A-Jay plumbing was negative. The technician has been sent to me by HomeServe insurance to check the cooling system failure. As a matter of fact, my cooling unit is very old. However, he suggested the costly questionable repair, that was not covered by insurance. He gave me not enough information and an overstated estimation for unit replacement fair price. So, I have been disorientated and mislead. Eventually, I had to hire another contractor.

This morning my parents experienced some issues with their plumbing (sinks had no hot water, showers had no water at all, and basement was flooding). We have insurance with Sears so they referred us to A-Jay Plumbing. My mom called, and was immediately greeted by a woman upset because "Sear's should have called us, not you."
After some back and forth, they told us that they would call at noon, to tell us when they could send people over. After no call, my mom decided to call them back at 2pm, and was told that they would send someone over at 4pm. After no one came, my mother called again at 5pm

Zero stars.... The worst service I ever had from a company. Not honest and does not have professionalism. I called them in May 2018 for fixing my central air conditioning. They charged me over a thousand dollars and the system worked only for a few weeks and ceased again. This time they gave me a different story and charged me again. When I turned on the air conditioner couple of weeks ago, no cooling ( same issue I had before - and within a year). I called them again thinking that they will take responsibility of the job they did within a year. The guy who came first said that he don’t know

My window for my appt was 12pm-2pm--once 3pm came and I received no phone call, I had to call to find out if they were still coming. They said they were running behind and on their way. 4pm came and I had to call back, they stated they were on their way again. Finally 4:30pm someone arrived saying the they just got the phone call for this appointment 20 minutes ago. They then proceeded to charge me $125 for what ended up being 2 screws they tightened. I spoke to the owner who was extremely rude and unprofessional about the entire situation. There was very little communication from my initial call
