Our business first began in 1974. Bobby, a native of Huntersville has long roots in the community. His paternal grandfather, W.J. Ranson was a dairy farmer & the first mayor of Huntersville. Ellen Hunter Ranson, Bobby's grandmother, was from the Hunter family for whom the town was named. The Ranson homeplace still stands on the corner of Old Statesville Rd & Huntersville-Mt Holly Road.
It was back in 1986 when Hal joined our team. His family moved to Huntersville to be closer to family. Initially Hal ran the Appliance division then began working in the plumbing contracting division soon thereafter. Hal gained his State Plumbing Contractor's license & when Bobby decided to retire in 1992, Hal became President of the company.

North Meck Plumbing came to my rescue! A water pipe was broken during the installation of a countertop in my client's bathroom in Mooresville. I tried a few local plumbers, but no one could come out for days. I reached out to N.Meck Plumbing and they were able to come up from Huntersville in a matter of hours. Robbie, one of the owners, was extremely professional and nice. He took care of all my needs and was able to run water and sewer lines from my home to my room above the garage. He was reasonably priced and always had someone there when he said he would.

Robbie and his team could not have been more wonderful! We are a school and don't have the time or the space for any building to be down on our campus. When Robbie found out about our situation, he sent a team out immediately and they performed a miracle!
We never missed one minute of classes and the job was done as professionally as you will ever see. The price was also more than fair given the circumstances and fast turnaround.

There are not enough great words to explain our experience. We discovered we had a leak in our main water line due to a high water bill. There were no visible signs of a leak so we didn't know what to do. We called NMP out for a second opinion and while they told us the same thing as the first plumber, NMP took greater care of the details, measured while on site instead of guessing, and explained all of the reasons behind the recommendation. Because of where our main water line was located, and not being able to pin point the leak, it meant we needed an entirely new water line which is something

Thanks to Mr Hester and his crew for a great job replacing a damaged gas water heater. The technicians were prompt, courteous, unobtrusive, speedy, and informative. I appreciated Mr Hester's personal thoroughness in timely followup and detail. It left me with no stress. We had an issue with our tub drain and it needed replaced. Turns out it is an unconventional drain stopper and the plumber on site could not find a replacement after going to two supply stores. We ended up paying the bill, but the work wasn't completed. Two weeks later, the plumber calls and out of the blue tells us he found one. He could have forgotten about us and went about his business, but he still went searching for the part we needed and delivered it after the fact. Great company with service folks that care.

We recently had our floors redone and discovered some plumbing issues that had to be taken care of immediately. The flooring was already a major expense and we had received an estimate from another plumber that would have put a financial strain on our family, and would have caused additional damage to our driveway that was not necessary.
