We specialize in residential moving services, from disassembly, pad wrapping, loading, unloading and reassembly, from start to finish we do it all. Every move is different, some moves require more help than others, this is why we send you what you need, nothing less. Based on information you give, we can customize a crew of two or more experienced movers to move your household goods professionally and efficiently.
As a business ourselves, we know how important a move can be for a company and understand the value of getting everything up and running as quickly as possible. We have highly trained packers and movers who will make sure that your files, office equipment, computers and furniture are carefully arranged in boxes, loaded and transported all in a quick and professional manner.
Moves of 35 miles or less are billed at hourly rates based upon the number of workers/vans and the time it takes to perform the move. The clock starts when we arrive at your home, and stops when all the services are completed at the destination. This includes disassembly, pad wrapping furniture, loading onto truck, transporting, unloading and assembly as well as any shrink wrap and tape used.
The Federal Motor Carries Safety Administration of the U.S Department of Transportation wants to make sure you have the information you need to Protect Your Memories. Your Money. Your Move. from moving fraud. The best defense against moving fraud is to be informed and aware of your options when choosing a reputable moving company.
Our maximum liability will be $0.60 per pound based upon the weight of any lost or damaged items, regardless of its actual value. For example, damage to your refrigerator weighing 400 pounds would result in a maximum claim settlement of $240. Basic Value Protection provides minimal protection, and it is possible that settlement of any claim under this level of valuation will not be satisfactory to you.

This is so disappointing to write this review, I've used this moving company multiple times and I was actually going to use them again; although I've moved out of state, I wanted to use Meek Movers over a local company because I really trusted Dwight and his team and thought they had excellent service as demonstrated in my last several times working with him. I had set up something but have been totally ghosted by them and now am scrambling to find another company at the last minute. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!! They broke 3 antique pieces. My beautiful down couch has 3 oil stains on the fabric that will not come out. They broke all 4 wheels off of my rolling art desk. They chipped the brick off of the steps in my new home with the cart. They also chipped the wood on the house I sold with the cart. They put boxes marked Garage, into the 2nd floor barn apartment which is 200 yards from the house. They unpacked a custom couch and put it upside down in the yard/dirt ( I live on a farm). Then it started to rain. I had to ask them twice to move it into the house. They were sloppy and

Initially I was happy to have someone come and reviewed positively. Opening boxes it was clear they Packed belongs poorly, nothing wrapped. Lots of broken china. Moving day the arrive on time, Wouldn't listen to the home owner and abruptly left. One guy accused me of racism and boss believe him. My wife and I just moved to West End. After being here for a few weeks, we decided we needed some furniture moved around our new home. Checked Yelp and saw all the great reviews for Meek Movers. Decided to request a quote. Dwight responded in about 30 minutes via test, email and phone. Price was fair. When I asked when they could do the work, much to my surprise, he said 9:00 the next day. He and Talon were at my house the next morning, and knocked out the job in no time! They were very professional and efficient. Even though they were pretty late getting to my house due to a previous job, they more than made up for it with their speed and professionalism. They even gave me a discount on price for the inconvenience. Had my entire 3 bed/2 bath house moved within half an hour on each end and even helped us disassemble and reassemble some of the furniture. If you're looking for a reliable and affordable moving company within the Fayetteville/Fort Bragg area, you really can't go wrong with these guys.

Worst moving experience ever. I made a reservation more than a month in advance. At 5pm the day before our move I called to confirm they would be at our house at 8am the next morning and was told they won't be able to make it. Less than 24 hours before our move! Not sure when they were planning on telling us. Totally shocked and disappointed.

I truly can't say enough positive things about my experience with Meek Movers! This was my first "adult" move since the military usually coordinates moves for me. I relocated from Southern Pines to Fayetteville to be closer to work and decided on Meek Movers after sending out a few messages on Yelp to various moving companies. We used Meek Movers for a local move and they were outstanding! Arrived right on time and got straight to work. They went a little over the 2 hours they quoted us, but stuck to their quote and only charged us for the 2 hours. I will definitely recommend them to anyone that moves in the Fayetteville area.

I booked this company to help me move in July and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP...leaving me by myself with my senior aged parents to move the contents of a 16ft truck to a second floor apartment in 90 degree heat.

Seriously amazing service. I have moved 11 times in the last 8 years, and Meek Movers was hands down the best company I have ever worked with. Dwight and Carl were not only professional and personable, but they were extremely efficient. What would have taken me hours to do, they did in 2.5 hours flat. This is our third time using Meek Movers in the village or pinehurst. They are always very nice, incredibly cautious of the furniture, and they are so fast. I was in desperate need of movers. It was very last minute, which was not my choice or intention. I called the day before and they were available the next day! The crew they sent was fantastic! They were very courteous, friendly, and helpful. They always made sure to check with me before packing things. I had some stuff that was staying and some stuff was getting packed. I had them bring the packed stuff to a storage unit and they placed it all on there with no problem! I couldn't argue with the price. $150/hour for 3 men. They even packed a few things in boxes when I ran it my own boxes.
