Do your homework and get a second quote. this company over estimates by double which is a rip off considering they have a minimum during peak season. I received a quote for 7 hrs for three men plus 30 minutes of travel which I immediately thought was ridiculous. Everything was pre wrapped and boxed at our walk through. Turns out, their estimate was really off. My husband and I moved everything in 4.5 hrs from start to finish. We are in our mid 40s. We were only TWO people, not three professional males yet we did it in half the time?!!!!! Makes u wonder. Response time is slow too. Can’t speak

RJ, Alan & Isaiah did a great job of taking great care of our belongings during our move over a period of two days and multiple pick up stops. They took care of packing our fragile items and artwork, all of which made the trip in one piece & in great shape. They were efficient and tidy. The office staff was also very accommodating and willing to help/offer solutions in a timely manner. I WOULD use Naglee movers again!

I had an absurdly long review and it was lost so I'm going to boil it down.
Pros
-Friendly, on time, good communication
Cons
-Damaged walls, and said it wasn't covered by the contract
-Refused to take apart furniture that I paid them for, and asked me to do it while they waited
-expensive beyond belief. About 8000 for 4 hours of loading, 1 unloading, about 2-4 travel. And they made me take apart all furniture and pack everything. I have a feeling they charged for things they didn't do
-repeatedly sat on my fabric furniture while covered in sweat
-someone missed the toilet while

Just wanted to update this review because there has been a sequence of events after the posting of the first review that would solidify Naglee and United Van Lines as companies not to deal with. Shelly(sp.) in response to my first review responds by asking me to call her. Optics of this are great especially since she posts on yelp in response to my review. So I call only to find out she has nothing to offer other than to suggest changes to United and Naglee but offers no real value. Additional waste of more of my time! I've moved with a couple of different companies before through my jobs. Honestly, United Van Lines has truly been excellent as a company. The last movers I had not only broke things, but upon planning my move forgot to include my car. I ended up having to drive half way across the U.S. instead of flying like I had planned. The coordinator of this move was fantastic, the packers did an excellent job, and the people who physically moved my things were professional, timely and careful. I greatly appreciated their work and I'd definitely recommend it to a friend.

I have upgraded Naglee from a "1" to a "2", because I received a damage settlement check in the amount of $8,169 from Unico and it was processed relatively timely. This firm is the holding company that owns United Van Lines, and several other transportation companies such as Mayflower. I learned that once a damage claim exceeds $5,000, it has to be reviewed and authorized by staff at the holding company. I have used them twice for domestic long distance move. Not happy about the fact that they had an ETA in their system for a particular day when my stuff was still in their warehouse, and no driver or pickup time was determined, let alone communicated. It eventually did all arrive, changing hands at least twice, with only 3 boxes damaged (all items fine). The local help is a bit of a hit and miss, some are great, others not so much. The ones that delivered were great and I would want to use them again.

I hired Naglee to move me on a long distance move. While packing, they ran out of time and had only packed about 3/4 of my home by 6:00 pm due to their underestimation of the amount of time and supplies it would take to properly pack my home . Instead of finishing the job the next morning, the packers were determined to make the drive that night and became very rushed with the remaining portion of my items. Consequently, when we unpacked upon arrival, there was $1,000s in damage. The items damaged were irreplaceable. Such a shame that people you pay above
