I always take great pleasure in writing nice letters to people who do what they say they will do. My wife and I are quite pleased with the way the driveway turned out. The driveway is a work of art, I can't stop looking at it. You have done an excellent job. Your men have also finished the garage and driveway so everyone in the neighborhood thinks its perfect now.

They did a great job. I had a problem with water in my basement. They came out right away, removed the old deck and dug down until they found the problem. There was a huge hole in the foundation. The filled it, sealed it and poured the concrete. I now have the problem fixed and a beautiful patio. They answered every question I had. They are a great crew. Would recommend highly.

Will update this review for the job performed, if they ever show up and do it. We booked Blounts in May and were told end of July for our patio. Great, we picked Blounts because they were going to be able to do it in time for us to enjoy the patio for some of this summer. Unfortunately, it rained a ton in July. No problem. we get it. We called to see when we’d get bumped back to. We were told “no later than mid august”. Okay so 2-3 weeks after we had called. We just called today August 16, and the guy scoffed and said AT LEAST 4 more weeks. Starting to regret booking with these guys as I’m

The whole team was great to work with and the quality/craftsmanship and attention to detail was Really great. I could not have asked for a better replacement of our old driveway with addition of a patio. They corrected so many weak points and the new design/work came out flawlessly with a very efficient crew and full collection of machinery to get the job done quickly...all for a Very fair price compared to the competition. Jim and his team did great work at replacing our front entryway and surrounding walkway concrete in front of our store including a snow-melting electric radiant heat system that's certainly a nice feature to have in the winter. No blemishes or negatives 3+ years after the work was done which is obviously the most important thing. Thank you again for quality work.

I got an east estimate last fall and I’m ready to replace my driveway I called the company 5 different times to sign a contract and get my driveway date set up to be replaced. And I got no where with them. I was promised a contract in the mail by Monday when I called Friday and Thursday came and nothing. I called and all they can say is sorry. Well sorry don’t help me so good bye I’ll go with another company. So my advise to you is. Stay away from them

Blount Construction excavated and poured foundations for an addition to our house in the Parkside neighborhood.They did the work in the tight quarters of a city lot. Everything about the job was a positive experience: the work was done in a timely manner, the crew was professional and respectful of the neighborhood, the worksite was cleaned up every day and thoroughly cleaned and restored when the job was finished. I would recommend Blount Construction for this kind of work without reservation.

My driveway is all pitted, some spots chunks missing, when I called after first winter all I got was that happens. Do yourself a favor don't go with Blount cheaper isn't better. We also had new footers laiid exterior walls of our garage made the wall to high had to reconstruct the opening for our doors in order for them to fit. Looking back should have taken to small claims court. Should have listened to people who told me not to go with Blount shame on me

The people gave us a quote about a year ago and have yet to show up. All lies when they say that they will be there. These people are the most unreliable contractors I have ever dealt with and I have been in contracting all my life. Don’t call them they won’t show up anyway and lie all about it. They are nothing but a bunch of liars. Don’t use… them. The work will be crap if they bother to show up. They should call themselves the Liars, the experts in lying.

Me and my wife decided to go with a new driveway last year 2018. I went with 3 estimates One contractor never called me back the other 1 was too busy and Jim showed up For the estimate on time so I decided to go with Jim Blount. One of the worst decisions I ever made.. He gave Me a time frame of 6 weeks. After the 6 weeks 5 more weeks one bye and I was calling and nobody ever called me back. I talk to Chris in the office and it was impossible to get a time he told me Jim just comes in and picks his jobs so why did he tell me 6 weeks if there isn't any kind of scheduling, I couldn't understand that

Terrible work from start to finish. Jim and the boys poured a new driveway for me in 2015 and in December of 2017 it looked like atomic bombs had been tested on it. When I questioned Jim about it he told me that the driveway should have been sealed yearly and washed with a hose monthly. That’s every month. Including December, January, February and March. I’m sure all that water and ice won’t ever turn into an issue in an WNY winter, especially if I trade my car in for a new Zamboni. This would have been nice to know before my ten thousand dollar job turned to rubble. Jim never gave me any

Jim & his VERY professional and dedicated crew just finished up at my home. My sister-in-law recommended them after they did such a great job at her place last year. I have to tell you - they were a breath of fresh air in the contractor world!!! They were here from sun up to sun down with hardly a break to eat lunch. Each member of the crew was… very helpful in explaining the process from start to finish. It was so great to see that type of dedication in performing a service!!!! So happy with job Jim and team at Blount Construction did at my home. Driveway and sidewalk replacement plus some add-on work to repair and re-point a stone porch and reconstruct a Bilco-door basement entrance.
The exposed aggregate concrete turned out beautiful and the 100 year-old porch looks ready to stand another hundred years. Many… positive comments from the neighbors.
Work started on the day promised and with the full team here was done within the week. Jim was easy to get in contact with and the team was very professional. Highly recommend them.

Very Professional, came and did my driveway in one day, which I didn't think would be possible since it is fairly large. They were not able to seal it that night because it was not cured yet and assured me someone would be by the next day to put a coat of sealer on and they came over the next afternoon. The job site was cleaned and it barley looked like they were there. The driveway has held up for two years and looks brand new. Crew was polite and professional, I am looking at getting a patio done soon and will be using them again. Highly recommend their work.
