In 20 years of being a contractor I don’t think I’ve ever spoken to a more unprofessional human. I had most of my yard in my house replaced by Charlie and his crew. From not telling me he is cash or check only, and saying “Sorry Playa you didn’t ask”. To now I get home from busting my back all day to have to clean up after him. He left my sidewalks, driveway, and neighbors grass a wreck. Do yourself a favor, go pay full price for a more professional experience. F-ing terrible. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Charlie and his crew came out to Re-Sod my entire back yard and with short time frame because of a big party planned in 4 weeks, he expedited everything and got the job done within the next few days. From ground prep to laying the sod, the job was done in one day.

Never ever hire this man he's a crook he will never give you the agreed job description on paper and he lies about how much the sod costs and I'll be hiring an attorney to take him to court for taking advantage of disabled elderly customers.....never hire him if you call the BBB he won't even give them his address just his cell number.....it's not even on the websites....that way he can cheat innocent people and they can't find him to serve him with lawsuit notifications.

Not good. A month after they originally put the sod down, they had to come out and replace nearly 20% of it because it had died. They came out and replaced that sod, half of that died and the original sod is now full of bare spots. $5,000 wasted. And this is after I spent nearly $500 on fertilizers, potassium, Fungicide, and everything else to get this stuff to stop from dying off. Use a different company

If I could give Charlie a higher rating, I would. From the minute I called Charlie, I knew I was in good hands. From beginning to end, we kept in contact the entire time and the job was seamless! Charlie and team showed up when promised and really did an amazing job, exactly as we discussed. The price was excellent and I guarantee you will be nothing but satisfied. I asked Charlie when we can arrange payment and his response was "Don't worry about that yet, let's make sure we get the job done to where you are 100% satisfied, then we can talk about payment". That's what you call customer service

I would leave zero stars if I could. Sod starting dying in large areas. I gave it some time to see if it would do better and then reached out to Charlie. I followed all his instructions, including using the company he recommended to do all the appropriate fertilizer, etc.
As soon as I reached out he immediately attacked and said I was past the 30 day warranty (which he never mentioned). I tried to do the right thing and he was just horrible. I wasn't even expecting it for free, just that he'd work with me to make it right.

Charlie's re-sod did our neighbor's backyard this week. We were awakened at 6:45 AM when they started their heavy equipment. When I brought to the owner's attention that it was too early for them to start, he cursed at me and called me a liar.
Generally, extremely rude.
Sad part is, we were actually looking for a sod company and we certainly would NEVER use Charlie's re-sod.
Our neighbor apologized for the owner's rudeness.

Charlie's Resod was excellent! If only all contractors were like this! Charlie was super helpful over the phone giving me straight answers. He came right out when he said he would for the quote. His pricing is fair and his level of high-quality work is stellar. He and his team were incredibly professional and hard working. They scheduled to come out immediately, brought top-of-line sod and river rock, came early in the morning and got the job done in like 48 hours. It was amazing. My lawn looks fantastic.
