My car broke a gas tank strap 200 miles into my road trip. I discovered it when I stopped in Beaver Dam Wisconsin on Sunday. Luckily, I was next-door to Lidtke Motors and I was at their service department when it opened at 7 AM on Monday. The service manager, whose name I failed to get, wasn't sure they could help me but said they would check it out. 40 minutes later they had put temporary straps on it and I was told it would probably get me to my destination but I didn't want to take a chance so I turned around and drove back home. I immediately took it to my regular mechanic of 10

I have been going to Lidtke’s for YEARS, ever since I bought my first car from them in 2014. They provide excellent service, and I feel very confident that they are looking out for me and my car. Following the completion of their service, they give me an update about the things they did as well as any services/repairs my car may need in the near future. I just moved to the area, and I haven't found a mechanic yet. It's one of those things that you don't think about until you need one, and then when you need one you are desperate. On a Friday night, my car started making a whining noise when I turned the wheel, so I looked up mechanics in the yellow pages and found Lidtke Motors. They were open at 7:00 a.m. on a Saturday, so they seemed like my best bet.
