Using this gift, I've helped hundreds of clients to completely transform their interior spaces. In 2015, I began creating custom pillows for friends and family, and the rest is - as they say - history.
Two years later, I decided to take my passion for design to the next level and opened my first retail venture in Clovis, CA - The Perfect Pillow By Julie Adams. In early 2020, it became clear that my business had outgrown its current location, and its current name. As my custom pillows found new homes across the country, clients became hooked on interior design and soon came back with requests for reupholstered cushions and furniture pieces.
Today, Julie Adams Designs provides expertly handcrafted decorative pillows and upholstered furniture pieces for every design style and budget.

The attention to detail is most appreciated. Julie reupholstered 2 chairs that I got from my grandmother that are very special to me. I was concerned that all of the nips and tux and buttons would not look the same, she and her crew nailed it! I will never go anywhere else for all of my fabric needs. The fabric she sourced me was on point as well, she was able to combine our household look of blues and grays blended into one.

I have 3 pillows now from The Perfect Pillow By Julie! They are my favorite pillows on my couch and bed. So comfortable and stylish 😃 This lady by far is the BEST! Julie, was amazing! She greeted me with a big smile and talked to me like i was a long lost friend. I told her that I was looking for something more manly for my sons bedroom, but wanted something that not everyone has. I showed her a photo and away we went. She helped me put together an amazing pillow, that my son loves and uses everyday to read or play games. I have now r gifted 3 of of her full custom pillows with out busting my budget.
