I called J. Hempel to look at a possible leak in my roof. Skip(David) Bidney came out to look and determined it was just water coming in through one of the roof vents but noticed hail/wind damage while he was on the roof. We filed a claim with my insurance company and we were able to replace the roof. Skip was great to work with and very patient with me. He followed through promptly on everything. The roof was replaced and everything cleaned up just like new! Jason was also very helpful and courteous. I would recommend Jason, Skip and their crew!

We had our basement finished with J. The price was right. We did comps with other construction companies and he can in at the best price. We only had to make a few adjustments along the way. The finished product has been enjoyed by all of our family. Awesome tile job in our new bathroom. Great cabinets for our wet bar. The quality of the work is unbeatable.

The contractors at J. Hempel Services were very professional and the quote on our total roof replacement (metal) was very reasonable compared to the other 3 contractors who came out and gave us estimates. The crew was respectful and cleaned up nicely after the job was complete. They communicated very well and worked with us and our solar panel contractors to ensure our solar panels would connect properly. Great service, highly recommend!

We hired J Hempel Services for a cabin remodel, he went above and beyond to finish the job on time. His crew was courteous and did excellent, quality work. Each night they cleaned up any mess and left the work area clean and safe, they also took pictures and left descriptions of the day’s progress in the Buildertrend App - very helpful. He answered any and all questions we had and came up with solutions to all problems we encountered. I would definitely recommend J Hempel Services.

We have hired J Hempel Services to build our deck and finish our basement. Both times have been great experiences. Jason is an expert project manager, especially juggling changing material availability during COVID. Even with material delays and pandemic scares, the project finished on time with great results. Jason is great to deal with. Very responsive and informed. Pricing was reasonable and seemed to be about middle of the road as far as estimates went, but in fairness the lower quotes came mostly from fly by night contractors that did not inspire a lot of confidence when talking with them. His crews are top notch and of a high skill level.
They did a new deck for us last year and new siding and gutters this year. I will absolutely use them again when I have other projects to get done.

After a septic backup, nearly my entire basement needed repair - bathroom, laundry room, family room, hallway, walls, floors, doors - it was a mess. The thought of vetting contractors and trusting them with my home was a little daunting to me as a single woman not even knowing all the right questions to ask. We hired Jason and his crew to build our deck. From the very beginning to the very end Jason and his crew showed extreme knowledge and passion in providing us top quality performance.
