They work itself appears to have been done correctly.
The call out fee is $45.00 and there was a considerable mark-up on the parts, about 300% comparing the cost for the same parts online, makes this company not an economical solution.
I would consider shopping around if I was able to wait until a weekday.

We had them come out because the spring on our door broke. I called and they were out later that day. I had noticed wires on the sides had begun to fray as well. As I had Darryl inspect the door, I asked about the opener as we had to get really close to the door to open it lately. The opener was over 20 years old. We had a couple bad rollers, bad brackets (rusting) and our insulation at the bottom wasn't flush. He gave a reasonable quote for all of it. We decided to have him take care of all of the issues rather than having to have them come back out. Fortunately we were his last appointment

A week ago my garage door stopped working, the first company I called did get it to work, but only for a few days. I was not impressed with that gentleman at the time, so I did not call him back when it stopped working again. This company had some good reviews and I'm very glad I gave them a call. Got me scheduled for the next day, a very cold Saturday morning,and no extra charge for the weekend. Daryl was very knowledgeable and efficient in fixing the problem. Great communication and service. I requested an online quote and to my surprise I receive communication within an hour and it was 'after business hours.' I received a few quotes the next day on the type of door I described. We then met at the showroom and made our final decisions. Installers were on time and did a great job. We are pleased with our new door and opener.

Technician did and efficient job in the heat to install the garage door opener. I was not happy about paying an extra $45 gas fee that was included but not mention when I talk to the person on the phone. My price had already increased over $100 since I wanted two remotes and the keyless entry that I had did not work with the new system. The technician also failed to mention that my in car remote may not wor. Now I need to buy another piece of equipment that will cost me an additional $20.

I would recommend the company to everyone. My husband accidentally backed into the garage door this afternoon. I called and they were able to send someone out within a few hours. The technician is almost finished fixing the door and the repair cost was extremely reasonable. Don't hesitate to give Hicklin your business, they are honest, reliable, and affordable. 5 stars wasn't high enough if you ask me!

Excellent service! My garage door stopped working this morning - broken spring. I called and spoke with the owner. He had a tech out within two hours. The tech was knowledgeable and worked hard to get the job done. It ended up that we needed our flimsy one spring system converted to a heavier-duty two spring that could properly handle our heavy door. Would absolutely recommend Hicklin!

If you have a garage door problem, I would strongly recommend calling Hicklin. Professional, honest, clean, timely and fair, upfront pricing. We had a broken spring on our overhead door this Saturday. Called Hicklin at 2:00pm, Rob showed up at 4:30pm and the door was working again before 5:00pm.
We also have a condo in Ankeny that had a garage door problem back in May. One company told me that I would need a new opener. I called Hicklin, Mark came out, made a couple of minor adjustments to the opener and the door has been working better than ever.

I Had a Large 18 foot door replaced and with in a few months the top panel on the door buckled. I had originally purchased a door with window on the top panel and due to the length of the door I thought that maybe the windows had something to do with the failure of the panel. I called Hicklin and I had to pay to replace the panel and this time I replaced it with a solid panel. And the panel collapsed again. This was happening as the door was closing and encountered something that kept it from closing and instead of the door stopping and reopening as the are designed to do the opener did not recoil
