I would highly recommend this company! John and Maria are great at what they do and provide quality services, and they are easy to work with and also provide great ideas, if you need them. I have used their company on multiple properties. The most recent job they completed for me was a bathroom remodel. The job was completed on time and at budget. I've hired this company for the second time. I had them remodeled both of my bathrooms. They turned out very nice and they were avale you do more practical adjustments to my bathroom within reasonable time and price.
The communication is excellent, they can advise about how things will look better (ultimately they won't do anything you are not comfortable doing). They work hard and fast. John did a bathroom remodel for us a couple years ago, I'm just getting around to posting this now as I saw this pop up while I was looking for a handyman.
First thing I'll say is that JJ is the cheapest - by far of all the quotes we got for remodeling 2 bathrooms in our house. So if you have a really limited budget at least the work gets done.
BUT I will say that you get what you pay for.
Pros: cheap, gets it done, generally nice
Cons: poor quality work, doesn't really contribute any ideas just does what you ask him to, doesn't stand behind his work.
The bad experience

Jon and Daniel did a wonderful job remodeling our small bathroom. From tear out to tile and shower valve install, they were easy to talk to and work with even when I added things or there was some issue. Maria is pleasant, helpful, and definitely maintains the company's timeleness and quality control. I will most certainly call on them again.

This review is way over due. Jon and Maria came in and did our small master bathroom back in March and we could not be happier. They both showed up and listened to the ideas that I had and made great suggestions that I didn't really think about. They were timely and always communicated what the next day would look like so we had an idea. Daniel spent most of the time here and paid attention to detail on everything he did. He will take advantage of women by over charging you! I got a quote December 2019 to replace 6 boards of siding on my house from water damage. The quote was $650. I needed an itemized quote and asked him to provide that, but he said he'd have to recheck it out. July 2020 he can back to look at the siding again. SAME 6 boards to replace, but I asked him to replace two more making it a total of 8. The new quote was $1,950. 3x as 7 months earlier. I asked what changed...his excuse was COVID. The price of the siding did not change (I checked at Home Depot and it's a stock item).

I found Jon and Maria on Yelp and based off the reviews I had hired them for my bathroom remodel. They gave me an estimate which was way below other people I had contacted and by the following week they started the job. Maria came with us to Home Depot to pick out everything we needed which was very helpful because we had no idea where to start. They did a very nice job and we love our updated bathroom. They left everything clean and all the debris was hauled away. Thank you guys for everything and we will be using you guys again.

Jon came out same day when I called about a leak in our roof. He cut down my overgrown trees, cleaned my roof off, and fixed a number of broken roof tiles. He worked late into the night, and even broke down all of the pieces of the trees he cut down, and fit it all in our green bin! He does great work, and thus why I called him again to help us out! He's very kind and friendly. Easy to talk to. He even coached me in a way to take out a broken lightbulb in our oven hood (the glass part came completely off!). J.J., Maria, Mario, and Martin, all get gold stars from us!! For 5 years I had to legally fight a solar company, which damaged our roof and the ceiling of our garage. After I was done was that company, JJ LL Do It finished cleaning up the mess the solar company had made. JJ and his team re-taped all of our garage. They fixed all tile on our roof. They inspected the interior of our roof after spraying water on our roof to make sure there were no more leaks!

I purchased a property in Fresno that needed a total rehab on but I live 2 hours away. I called several contractors but Jon was able to get to it the soonest. All of our communication was over the phone an through text messages. I never met him in person until almost the completion of the project. I trusted him and he trusted me. We got a quote from Jon & Maria within 1 hour after leaving our house. We decided to hire them a week later. They were able to accommodate out dates with no issues. Demo started day 1 on the bathroom remodel and work continued. There were some unforeseen as I expected but did not hault work.
A few days into the job we decided to make some changes to the work sense things were going well. They were able to make the additional request we ask.
Overall the work took about 5 days from start to finish which involved removing bathroom Vanity, Tub & tile. Install new tub and bathtub/shower

I asked John to come and look at several problem areas and some new projects we had in mind. On time with good advice, pointed out some things we had not considered. Gave us estimates that made sense exactly when he said he would. I have used a lot of contractors and I think dependability is the most important trait of any contractor. We have put off our projects due to surgery but we will give John a call when we do go forward.

I was so worried when the ceiling in my garage was getting soaked during the rain John came out that evening and worked in the dark and found the roof leak on my tile roof. He was supposed to be at a dinner for his visiting sister. I kept saying that's good enough but he wanted to be thorough and kept at it. I highly recommend him for bigger jobs too.
