A door to door salesman wearing a shirt w/ADT logo sold alarm to be installed & monitored IMMEDIATELY; there were several instances of the alarm being set off by garage door, glass break detector (from cabinet slamming), & from the sliding glass doors being opened while the system was armed. I never received a call from ADT so I called them. I… discovered during this call that I was under contract w/ Prime Protection (PP) & that the system installed was NOT from ADT corporate. I was told to contact PP which I did & even after the tech was sent to the house ADT did not call

Had adt installed and it never worked right. I would get automated calls everyday saying there was something wrong with the sysytem. Tried to cancel and they told me I would have to pay 75% of the rest of the contract... we moved out of the house and tried to cancel again and were told the same thing or that we could move the service AND SIGN ANOTHER 3 YEAR CONTRACT. We sold the house a few months ago so now I have been paying for adt at a house that I don’t own and theres nothing I can do about it. Don’t get adt, it’s a scam and there are plenty of better cheaper services out there.

Please be aware of this scam company. They offer you camera system and equipment that doesn't work then when you try to cancel they force you into a buy out contract. They gave me camera system that never worked. They even admit it didn't work.
They removed the camera system from my residence and still trying to charge me for it monthly. They said it doesn't matter if it doesn't work i have to pay for it. So now i have no camera and no ADT system but they are forcing me to pay for service. All these reviews are fake and by employees working for company.
