Wind or storms may have knocked the tree down or damaged it too much to be able to keep growing properly. Or, a tree may just be in the way of something needing to be constructed.
Many people consider tree trimming to be something done for aesthetic purposes. After all, regular cutting controls a tree's size and shape, promotes fruiting and flowering, and removes anything not contributing to a beautiful canopy. But did you know that tree maintenance is done for reasons beyond aesthetics?

Once a tree has been felled, you're still left with a tree stump that needs to be removed. Besides being unsightly, tree stumps pose a tripping hazard to people, especially in areas where tall grass or vegetation obscures them.
Shrubs, like trees, are best maintained through regular trimming. Pruning is the best way to ensure that a bush has healthy growth patterns, including a desired shape. Report
I had a fairly large tree in my backyard that had become a nuisance. It was mostly dead and would often drop big branches during storms. I was worried the whole thing was going to fall on to my house if the winds got high enough. I asked Joliet Tree Service Specialists to come out and take a look. They gave me a free quote, which was very reasonable, so I hired them! They did a fantastic job to carefully remove the tree and stump. They also cleaned up so well that my yard was cleaner after they left than before they started the project. Great company!
