Needed a 3 bedroom house moved into a storage unit. Movers arrived with a 17’ truck and 2 men charging by the hour to do this move. They wanted to make two trips instead of sending a bigger truck to do in one move. I am having to hire another moving company to finish this the correct way. I was told “Customers are not always right” and “This was my fault as well” Take this for what it is worth. I would not recommend using this company.

Absolutely the best moving company I have ever used and I have used a lot of moving companies in the past. From the East coast (Fort Bragg, NC) to the West coast (Fort Lewis/J.B.L.M, WA), from down South (FT. Benning, GA) to up North (here in Idaho) and also over seas (Germany). They arrived early and was done when they said they would be (I also had everything ready and it was exactly what I had said it would be) and it was the exact amount quoted (which is probably the best rate in town for a legitimate moving company). Showed up on time. Only had time to move big stuff. Left us with everything else to move knowing I was old and my husband was just out of the hospital after having a heart attack. Over charged us by charging us for all the time the owner spent on the phone. Worst moving experience ever.

THANK YOU SUMO MOVING! We were so very impressed with how professional and quick your team moved some extremely heavy items for us! WOW! Everything was wrapped in moving blankets and one item wrapped with clear wrap to ensure protection. They made it look easy! Everyone should use this moving company! They are the very best...and priced wonderfully! What would have taken hours to move, was done under an hour. We definitely saved money by using SUMO MOVING!

We were quoted one price and ended up paying 3 times as much. The movers left half of our stuff at our old house and we had to get our old landlord to help move the rest of the things which ended up costing us more. When they loaded our storage, things were just put in without any consideration of where they were putting things. Very dissatisfied with their service. Would never use them again or recommend them to anybody!!!

They charge $115/hour but it's only two men, the owner and his assistant. The owner stood in the storage unit most of the time and handed boxes to the assistant who moved them onto the truck. They provided the truck, so that's something. But that's a steep price even if both men were moving items the whole time. I'd expect to pay $25/hour/man for this kind of labor.

We had a couple of issues with packing my trailers tight and filling all available space. However, after contacting the owner--all was taken care of and things done the right way. Jared handled the situation great and was very concerned that we were taken care of and also took the opportunity to use it as a coaching moment for his team. Would I recommend them again? Yes, yes I would!

If you have a lot of money and a lot of time these guys work great. No major damage to anything. My surprise came when I realized they were charging $100 Hr for three of them. I had used them 2 years ago and they were 75 an hour. We never discussed prices until they were at my home that morning. They never moved with any sense of urgency and many times took one box at a time. Instead of moving what was ready I found them slowly taking apart bunk beds.
