Fences by Grant is a family-owned and operated business in Tomball, Texas that specializes in installing traditional, residential fences. We use a 6 rot board at the bottom of our fences and three 2x4 horizontal runners, all in a vertical position to prevent sagging. Instead of toenailing the runners, we install them in front of the posts. Harold Grant has more than 32 years of proven excellence when it comes to building and installing fences.

I just had Harold and Yankie Grant install yet another fence for me but this time at my new house. I have had them do three separate wood fencing jobs for me and would continue to endorse them! They also give a one year written warranty on their work. They do an EXCELLENT job! See my before and after photos. Highly recommend!

Very pleased with the quality of work performed. They installed a 10' foot double iron gate on one side and a 6' single on the other. These were connected by about 550' of fence through the woods across changing elevation. There was time taken to meticulously level and plan out the execution prior to work. Done once and done right! Fences by Grant did an outstanding job on our fence. We wanted something other than the typical privacy fence so we had them build an 8' Cedar Horizontal fence and it came out great. It changed the whole look of our backyard. Grant and his crew even worked into the night to finish the job after we added an additional 12' at the last minute. They showed up on time and left my yard as clean as it was before they started.

Mr. Grant and his crew recently replaced my town home's backyard 6 ft fence with an 8 ft fence and my wife and I could not be more pleased with the results.
Backyard space is tight with these town homes with my main backyard area at 40 ft x 20 ft.
Mr. Grant's crew did an outstanding job maneuvering in this small space to get the job done while braving the recent cold and rain. The crew was also very polite and and the lead crewman, Chris is very accommodating when you have questions or concerns as well.
The quality of materials and workmanship are top notch, and I expect to enjoy

This is a family run company. I worked with Grant's wife to schedule everything and their grandson came out to measure for the quote. Grant was onsite most days working alongside the crew. This type of business model is so nice for customers because you don't have to worry about a crew showing up who hasn't been provided instruction or maybe isn't doing things to the standard of the business owner. I was referred to Fences by Grant by a friend who had them build a fence for her, which looked really nice. Everyone there was pleasant to work with, very responsive to phone calls, messages, etc. The guys did a great job, even working thru the rain until it became a downpour. They cleaned up after themselves better than any other contractors we've had. This company gets a A+ for being dependable and doing quality work!

I only wish I had more fence for him to install! Fences by Grant has been the most professional company I have ever dealt with and since we flooded I have dealt with many. I requested quotes on YELP and his was the first that answered. The other quotes were outrageous and one company simply said sorry... your job is too small. I spoke to his sweet wife who gave me a rough estimate but the final estimate was done when they came to measure and to physically look at the fence. They came out on a Saturday which is not typical. Paypal is used for payment and everything was done via email from signing

After contacting at least 10 local fence companies in my area, Grant was the ONLY company that actually answered my call. So that right there is plus number one. Understandably, fence companies are busy right now, as we are all still recovering from Harvey, but I did not even get a call back from any other fence company. Grant even came by on a Sunday to accommodate to my busy schedule to get measurements for my bid. And another Sunday to make sure utilities had been properly marked.
